The Year Of The Fox Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 What actually happened? As far as I could see Tevez did raise his hands to Wellens. Watched the highlights on ITV after and nothing was shown or mentioned about it. Is that because it was a non incident or because they wanted to skirt round the issue??

The ref spoke to the linesman and they decided it was nothing and both had had a go at each other (well I lip read "both" anyway). So they had a talking to by the ref then nothing more!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 lcfcstu loves a thread doesn't he?!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 19 January 2011 Author Posted 19 January 2011 Lots to talk about mate! Done us proud last night
StanSP Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 A non-incident. If Tevez would have got sent-off, it would have been a disgrace in my opinion. They both squared up to each other and that's that. Wellens pointed a finger, Tevez threw a hand at Wellens' finger and probably didn't even make contact with it to be honest. Much ado about nothing! Making a mountain of a mole-hill. Yeah.
Itsthejoeker Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 Why would anyone square up to Wellens? Didn't someone else square up to him in the game?
Corky Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 It was something of nothing, the ref dealt with it sensibly and got on with the game.

Jakemoore Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 Dyer taking on patrick vieira was CLASSIC! Aside from our goals and Moussa fooking their defence up with one mad skill, that was the highlight for me. I can't wait to see Moussa's skill on Soccer AM on Saturday, surely they'll show it!!!
