Haydos Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Seems to be far less moaners around this week, does that mean he didn't punch the ball once and they have literally nothing to complain about?
Mack Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 It was'nt shown on the TV highlights but he flapped hopelessly for a corner, and dropped a routine catch in the area and there was a comical stramble until he finally regained control. Although none of his errors cost us a goal yesterday he was certainly not filling anyone with confidence either.

Mack Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 He made a very good save with his feet which I doubt Weale would have got to I agree he made a couple of good saves also, but I'm not going to go as far as to say that Weale would'nt have made them. Who knows? And it's irrelevant as he was not picked.
Haydos Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Think I prefer Ricardo. He's doing the job so far (imo the cov goal was 50/50) and I prefer his style of play. I do wish he'd catch some of the more simpler balls but I wish a lot of things about a lot of players, I don't see why a keeper shouldn't be free from criticism. I think Weale's positioning can be awful at times and at others his footwork is just as bad. Ricardo = Positives outweigh the negatives.

And it's irrelevant as he was not picked. Glad to hear that, I don't get how people can speculate like that sometimes. If it was any other keeper that made a couple of the saves Weale made against Shefff U I never would have thought Weale could've made them but he did. Just because someone is of a certain abillity doesn't mean they can't do things that are indicative of a higher or lower ability level.
jamiegoode Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Hes good, and he has top comp experience, he'll really show his class by next season i think
Charl91 Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 I think he was a bit unlucky with the goal, its hard to save from that range. If Miller had been a few yards further out, he would have got down in time, rather then it going through his legs. - Plus it was nice to see almost all his long balls go accurately to our players!

Exactly why Sven plays him, he thinks like a footballer! he is almost a sweeper!
thybluefox Posted 7 March 2011 Posted 7 March 2011 Crikey don't tell me people are starting to see sense? He'll get better game by game, and be a much better keeper than Weale, in every aspect of his game. In fact the only way I see him as worse is in dealing with crosses.
CKB Posted 7 March 2011 Posted 7 March 2011 I'm starting to trust Ricardo abit more and maybe just maybe the lack of games he had was a reason and with him playing more games he's starting to get back to what he was and that was a pretty good goalkeeper.. Of course i've now just said that on Tuesday he will probably have a total shite of a match drop the ball in the net 8 times and then get sent off for running out the box and taking out 4 men and handballing aswell
B52 Posted 7 March 2011 Posted 7 March 2011 I almost believed it was tennis sometimes. The ball went back and forward instantly. I'm not used to see gk distribute like this......

CupidStunt Posted 7 March 2011 Posted 7 March 2011 I have just watched the highlights again http://vodpod.com/watch/5708439-qpr-1-leicester-0 he made some half decent saves to be fair, as for the goal.....maybe he could have saved it,on another attempt he may well have done we can all blame someone, like we could have blamed Naughton for giving the ball away, when he was doing fancy tricks with the ball, just before the goal it was a soft goal, 2 defenders around him,yet he still got through, there are more to blame than the keeper
Dilkes Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Stop booing and chanting Weale when hes in goal! And the sarcastic cheering when he catchs or makes a save. Try and get behind your team. If there in a Leicester shirt they'll get my 100% support.
Legend_in_blue Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 Absolute disgrace the booing of Ricardo this evening. Total disgrace from our fans. Complete numpties booing when the third goes in, takes a deflection off one of our woeful defenders and away from the keeper. Unstoppable. Yet blame Ricardo. It actually made me quite mad tonight. Not usually too fazed by it but to be honest the booing is childish and unintelligent.
Dilkes Posted 8 March 2011 Posted 8 March 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ru-c6CUep2c This would be nice!
