chili_con_carne Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Could have saved both goals tonight. Was so slow to react to the shots.
Joeb.lcfc Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 okay i just got a weird vision of :sge: singing to ricardoyes i have a strange imagination
Haydos Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Not like there's literally the same thread already.
cc_star Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Not like there's literally the same thread already. Didn't stop the 27 threads about the Cardiff game before the game, or the 406 threads about where we'll finish/future games against the top 6/upcoming games predictor/yada yada/same thing worded differently
bigfoxdave Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 I really cant see what SGE problem is with Weale, he has served us well so far this season,
Babylon Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Leicester lose = scape goat overreactions... Shock horror.
Simmo86 Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Lets just brush the shit marking to the side and blame Ricardo!!
goose2010 Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 looks more like the defences fault than Ricardo's having looked at the goals! give players like Chopra and Ramsey that much space is always going to result in trouble.
danny. Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Just watched the goals, not much the keeper could have done, just awful defending
thybluefox Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Ricardo isn't the reason we lost last night. Firstly there was poor marking for both of their goals. He has undoubtedly been a talented keeper, you don't get 80+ caps for Portugal by being shit. Whether he's suited to English football, or whether he's past it is another question.
Babylon Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 3 games played. Goals conceded that were his fault 0 = His fault we lost. Gotta love Leicester fans and their hated of anything different.
Corky Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 3 games played. Goals conceded that were his fault 0 = His fault we lost. Gotta love Leicester fans and their hated of anything different. Surprised it wasn't Oakley's fault.
Captain... Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 I'm not Ricardo's biggest fan, but the fault of both goals was defenders not picking up the men in the box, Bamba for his indecision on the first and any pick from about 6 on the second letting Ramsey get in unmarked. Maybe if Ricardo had saved one of them, or even made a save of note in his 3 games in goal, people would be more forgiving, but you can't blame him for those goals yesterday.
bardonfox Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Surprised it wasn't Oakley's fault. Haha, I was about to say that!
Happy Fox Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 http://twitter.com/BradleyTFoster hearing ALOT about "the ricardo" incident at #LCFC last night, app swearing and shouting at the fans?! Fans near the keeper are disgusted.. Is this true?
Stadt Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 I'm fed up of Leicester fans blaming someone and scapegoating can people just accept we lost, Its all ifs and buts but its happened now its not going to change anything is it?
Guest bennytwohats Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 I'm fed up of Leicester fans blaming someone and scapegoating can people just accept we lost, Its all ifs and buts but its happened now its not going to change anything is it? hear hear We lost what is, on paper, one of the hardest games we'll have to play this season. This is on the back of winning 7 out of the 8 games prior to this. Been on a fantastic little run which had to end at some point. By the sounds of it we were lacklustre all over the pitch. We lost, shame but not massively surprising. I'd imagine the ones making scapegoats and getting all up in arms about a woeful performance are the same people that last week were talking like we were nailed on for promotion. Every team has it's off days - we had one last night. Luckily alot of teams near us dropped points too. Now let's look to saturday and hope we can get the 3 points!
Bugg Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 http://twitter.com/BradleyTFoster hearing ALOT about "the ricardo" incident at #LCFC last night, app swearing and shouting at the fans?! Fans near the keeper are disgusted.. Is this true? Good on him. I'm sick of people shouting WE-ULL whenever he gets near the ball. If I was in his shoes I'd probably do the same.

Larry_LCFC Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 I have to say that Ricardo does not fill me with confidence like Weale does. Weale has a physical presence in goal that I dont think Ricardo has. He seems to flap way too much for my liking, punches easy catches and gives the ball away to much from goal kicks. Im not saying it was his fault last night but just because he was a good keeper 6/7 years ago, doesnt mean he has still got it. Look at he likes of Hesky and Beckham. Just my opinion so dont bite my head off but I would welcome back Weale with open arms
Mack Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Weale must look at this fella in goal and wonder what he did. I would never criticize Sven because he has done an amazing job, but I do wonder if the name is sometimes in his decision making process.
hackneyfox Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Weale has absolutely no presence in goal at all. He can't stop shots from range he doesn't command the box He doesn't communicate with his defence. Will people please stop this pathetic love in with a very average goalie. In general you're the same ones that didn't want Berner, Fryatt, Hobbs, Morrison, Kisnorbo or Hume dropped. Time changes and teamns evolve, about time you tried it.
