Filthy Fox Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 In the unlikely event that we do not get promoted do you think King Sven will stay? :sge:
Babylon Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Why wouldn't he? We were as good as bottom when he took over, I'm sure he looked at promotion this season as a long shot.

luckyalex13 Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 i think he will deffo stay, we were bottom of the league and he knew it would be unlikely to get promoted this season, although we are giving it a really good go (still believe we will make play offs) will be interesting to see who he brings in during the summer whether were in premier league or championship (please god let it be the premier league!!!!!)
Joeb.lcfc Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 considering that he said if we dont go up this season we will next season. i'd say he's happy here go up or not
samlcfc Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Yes, i think he will definately stay. Considering where we were when he took over and the fact he has repeatedly talked of committing himself he must be happy with the money hes making. Also looking at where he has got us including the talk of money available to him you'd think he will believe he may be able to take us a fair way making it a good job for him too stay at. Without some kind of rediculous offer which is unlikely i cant see him going anywhere. Hes on a 2 year deal aswell so when appointed it was obviously an understanding that they expected him to do what he could this year but that the real expectation would come in the second season.
TuptonFox Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 yes. even he admitted that it was a long term plan for the PL
TheUltimateWinner Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 In an interview when he took over he said he wasnt aiming for promotion this season ie long term
cc_star Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 2 Year contract TBH, and this isn't a dig against him (you've got to look after yourself after all) I'd expect him in the summer to do the kind of stuff to us he did to England in order to secure a longer deal with us, so he could be with us longer than the 2 years, Maybe a meeting with some sheiks or be photo'd having dinner with a chief exec of someone else.
Socks Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 yes. even he admitted that it was a long term plan for the PL thats what he said at notts county and look what happened there!
MattyFromLE Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 No, he'll take the Sven revolution to Derby. Because he has a "struggling club" fettish.
Babylon Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 thats what he said at notts county and look what happened there! Errrrr i'm not sure the two are comparable, what went on there had nothing to do with Sven.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 How many times does the bloke have to say he wants to be here long-term before people believe him?
Sylvie85 Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Has he not been sacked yet?! Just assumed because we'd lost, oh wait.... Milan's gone.
FuriousFox46 Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Sven said "I want to manage in the Premier League again as soon as possible.... but only with Leicester." :sge: ♥
evs_the_fox Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 There's no evidence to suggest he'll want to go anywhere. Besides, would he not be more sought-after if we were promoted? Also, how is it an unlikely event we won't go up? Be confident sure, but we're not 10 points clear at the top are we...

Trav Le Bleu Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 I'm not even going to bother replying to this thread. Damn.
evs_the_fox Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 just being optimistic With a pessimistic question...
samjohnson Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Dear god... first loss of 2011 in the league and in step the nay-sayers...
