He lays on the floor watches what unfolds, see Zigic miss and then gets up lambasting the ref for not giving a free kick. Almost as bad as diving. You can't have the advantage and then when you fuck it up ask for the foul.

Zigic had to score from that chance, no excuses. Wilshere, Nasri & RvP are different class. Great finish by Van Persie. Think Arsenal will go on to win, but as im a neutral, I'd like to see extra time maybe peno's.

He's clearly a decent player and he clearly has a bright future ahead of him but he's not the chuffing Messiah. Couldn't even get in the side before Ramsey broke his leg. Commentators bang on about him like he's Messi or Ronaldo. It's painful.

I don't object to the attention Wilshire gets, the English are right to be excited about him. But it's the way they go about it, the commentary on this game so far has been so painfully sycophantic it's embarrassing and it's not the first time. Edit: And now they're being rude about Rosicky who has probably been a bigger threat so far.

Single out a player for a rimming at the start of a match and then it's as if they feel they need to congratulate themselves on the validity of their prior statements throughout the game no matter what actually happens on the pitch. Annoying.
