ForzaLeicester Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Looking forward to going London on Saturday! Anyone got any tips on where to go drinking? Bush green or elsewhere? On the pitch can't see us getting much...
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Looking forward to going London on Saturday! Anyone got any tips on where to go drinking? Bush green or elsewhere? On the pitch can't see us getting much... London - errrm everywhere is frikkin expensive!!! On the pitch, were going to lose 3-0
BrummieFOX Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Yea, really can't wait for this!! I was so hyped for Cardiff and it was a bit of anti-climax in every aspect really. I'm hoping this will live up to it's potential. Was possibly my favourite away (not counting playoffs) day last year, great atmosphere, stunning performance, 3 points and an absolutely Lionel day in London!! What pub is everyone settling down in? Also agree, can't see us taking much from the game but you never know, i'll be going with an optimistic frame of mind and a fry-up lined stomach.
North-LondonFox Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 I'm all over this one! 12 noon start so i'll be well on the way by Kick Off - wld be good to meet up woth a few of the London Based foxes if any are heading down!
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 The Flying Scotsman, Kings Cross. Worried by this one. Especially since we need something after Saturday. Gutted not to be going. Bring 3 pts back lads.
ForzaLeicester Posted 28 February 2011 Author Posted 28 February 2011 Also if anybody is catching the train, london midland from nuneaton to euston cost me 18 quid, and that's coming back the next day!
Tommeh Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 General day shift to be had here, getting into Euston for 9:45. 3 points would be such a treat.
shailen Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 So how many goals are we gonna win by:P im goin for 2-0 to us, but we.seriously have to stop defending like girls, its terrible!
Jackirius Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Fucking raging i didn't/forgot to get tickets.
Bert Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 I'm all over this one! 12 noon start so i'll be well on the way by Kick Off - wld be good to meet up woth a few of the London Based foxes if any are heading down! You don't seem too far off now!
Guest ttfn Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 There's plenty of bars/pubs around Shepherd's Bush tube. Walkabout and Belushi's if that's your vibe and the Defector's Weld is one of London's better pubs (but may just be QPR on match days?). There's also a Wetherspoon's opposite the central line tube.

Rich Fox Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Looking forward to going London on Saturday! Anyone got any tips on where to go drinking? Bush green or elsewhere? On the pitch can't see us getting much... I am looking forward to going on the train as I can afford it having cheap tickets from Atherstone to Euston. I am also looking for a decent boozer as I dont know Shepherds bush but I imagine its a bit of a shot hole? not a fan of O neils and walkabout horrible chain pubs need a proper boozer with some proper beer. If I was going earlier would go covent garden first. On the game think we will win 2 1 they will not defend against us and this will work in our favour, but must sort defence out and please no silly chants of weale weale what goot will that do anyone apart from the opposition.
Martin Hendo for god. Posted 28 February 2011 Posted 28 February 2011 Churchill Arms, Kensington High Street. A good Fullers pub 5 minutes from Notting Hill Gate tube and therefore only two stops from QPR. I always met up with a Brighton Fox there. Good beer and no hassle.
ForzaLeicester Posted 28 February 2011 Author Posted 28 February 2011 Rich fox is yours a london midland train mate? I'm meeting some West Ham lads at kings cross god knows where they are going to take me...
LCFCmatt Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Probably a draw. qpr always seem to draw in every game now
CKB Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 I hope we do them, love shutting that smug Colin willy puller up but i fear we will probably lose
andy_croydz Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 5th March = my birthday, better pick up 3 points or else
ealingfox Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 The key to beating them is keeping Taarabt quiet, they aren't better than us (on form obviously) without him.
ajthefox Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 The key to beating them is keeping Taarabt quiet, they aren't better than us (on form obviously) without him. I really do tire of this rubbish that QPR are a one man team. A one man team doesn't do as well as they are doing. They have quality championship players through the squad, Taraabt just takes the spotlight because he is very good and is obviously a flare player.
ForzaLeicester Posted 1 March 2011 Author Posted 1 March 2011 Ajthefox...agreed, they are running away with it, one man doesn't explain that, pretty sure they are unbeaten at home all season?
The Sven Revolution Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Yes, but either way you can't rule out a positive result for us. And knowing us, we will probably win this one and then lose to some relegation contenders. Atleast a draw in this one for sure!
Daveaway Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Gutted can't be back in the UK for this one, birthday aswell, close to me aswell. 2 - 1 to us.
Socks Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 3-1 to QPR with Burnley winning as well and moving above us in the table watch this space
h1210 Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Ajthefox...agreed, they are running away with it, one man doesn't explain that, pretty sure they are unbeaten at home all season? Lost at least one, watched Watford beat them a couple of months ago on telly (might have even been one of the BBC games). Watford were really good that day abd showed that QPR are far from bulletproof.
