Stevosevic Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Cos he's a LAD. Nah, I do it, I get pissed, not so i'm paralyetic or don't know what i'm doing but do get quite pissed, just what people do isn't it? Why do people go out at the weekend and gets absolutely hammered? People enjoy it, I work 12 hour days all week and like a drink at the weekend. Don't get me wrong, i enjoy a drink at the weekends as much as the next man, just never seen the point in getting 'steaming' for a football match that kicks off at 3pm.
Maybes Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 How far up L1? Has he got dark hair and always with his old man whos bald? Yep thats the one.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 13 March 2011 Author Posted 13 March 2011 If its the one im thinkin of,its halfway up, the very first seat to the right of the stairs(if youre looking upwards)
Bert Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 How far up L1? Has he got dark hair and always with his old man whos bald? Yeah.
Maybes Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 If its the one im thinkin of,its halfway up, the very first seat to the right of the stairs(if youre looking upwards) Sounds about right to me.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 13 March 2011 Author Posted 13 March 2011 I put a video of the bloke I think it is earlier in the thread
Simmo86 Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Yeah. Tom is his name. Always smashed off his face home and away and going along with what other people are saying he's a good lad. Lads who stand in front off me in L1 know him well and were probably the ones with him yesterday.
jonw88 Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 This is currently the 4th most read news article on the BBC news website, after all the Japan stuff... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-humber-12725068 Anyone find that a bit odd?
Simmo86 Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 im on about the bloke on here on 28seconds. this who it was? I'm on that video. Doing my best Rafa Benitez impression!

purpleronnie Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 Great news he's pulled through, he has lost sight in his right eye, looks like paramedics saved his life. I wish him well.
andy_croydz Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 Thank goodness he survived, got some pretty big injury's though, may never see out of his right eye again and the damage to his knee sounds pretty bad. I know it's partly his fault for getting so smashed *if he was smashed at the time* but there shouldn't be a 15 foot drop in range of where the supporters are standing, should be more done to that area to make it safer IMO.

The 15 foot drop isn't within range of supporters unless they start climbing up onto things they really shouldn't be in the first place I'm led to believe...
Corky Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 Glad he's survived, not in a good way obviously but it could've been even worse for the lad.
Zingari Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 here's a book for him to read while he's in recovery ps hope the surgeons manage to save the lad's eye
Houdini Logic Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 I wonder if he'll get a ban for this? Would seem a tad harsh - think the brain injury is lesson enough
The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 March 2011 Author Posted 18 March 2011 Andy_croydz Dunno if youve ever been cardiff but the drop in front of the away fans is huge-must be the ambulance entrance. I was on the front row behind that and was petrified id go especially when king got the 3rd!
Fosse Boy Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 I wonder if he'll get a ban for this? Would seem a tad harsh - think the brain injury is lesson enough Would not surprise me given the way Hoos and co have acting of late...
Guest Bilo Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 So long as he doesn't do anything particularly egregious when he returns he should be fine.
Zingari Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 So long as he doesn't do anything particularly egregious when he returns he should be fine. i would imagine he is well aware of the gravity of his action now
Guest Bilo Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 i would imagine he is well aware of the gravity of his action now Terrible, Zin. Terrible.
davieG Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 Could lead to an increase in the reinforcement of no standing.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 Could lead to an increase in the reinforcement of no standing. yeah it probably will, the irony of it being safe standing could have prevented it....
m00nie Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 wasnt it when we scored the 3rd goal he fell? ? so was a combination of celebrating, alcohol, and climbing that caused it.?? which really none of it was due to the standing so be a complete farce if they use it as an excuse, can see it happening though knowing the way they are at our ground.. (even when the accident wasnt at our ground also )
lcfc"weasel" Posted 18 March 2011 Posted 18 March 2011 Yupp after the 3rd goal, it'll just fuel the club's wishes for us all to sit down and clap when we score.
