Zingari Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Nor should they go to the footie so paralytically drunk they don't know what they're doing, and become a danger to other fans as well as themselves. Sounds like the guy should never have been allowed in the ground in the first place. there's sure lot of truth in this, and i hope he and a few others learn from it . best of luck to the fella, but glad only he suffered for it . get well soon though , whoever you are
Charl91 Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 The worse part is that he had to go to a hospital in scunthorpe Hope he gets better soon!
MikeyT Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 sorry mr perfect fan who wodnt hurt anyone u absolut **** wen a player is hurt 'let him die, let him die' ay completely differant wen its a fan dic**ead Do you understand the English language, spelling and the use of grammar? Fractured skull, broken wrist and knee. Blimey. Best wishes all around. Not good at all.
whitlock Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 After leaving the ground and walking back to the car, an ambulance left the ground area (presume it was this unlucky bloke) went round the roundabout and the passanger door flew open! Luckily no-one flew out, driver slammed on the brakes and sped up to close the door, quite a manover!
I am Rod Hull Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 But thats not true sweetie. Oh and Stan, FT is your life. Says the guy with 11,000 posts.. Best wishes to said fan.
Guest Bilo Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Not sure how someone can be 'quite comfortable' with a fractured skull, broken wrist and buggered knee but glad to hear his injuries aren't life-threatening. Best wishes to him and his mates, hope he can be back on his feet soon.
acooling08 Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 What the hell was he trying to do? What a dick. Still, hope he recovers in time to see us destroy Pompey.
Guest Bilo Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Celebrate a goal I reckon mate. Plenty of us go mental while doing it and come out of it with nowt worse than bruised shins, this guy was just unlucky. Show a bit of respect.
The Padster Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Celebrate a goal I reckon mate. Plenty of us go mental while doing it and come out of it with nowt worse than bruised shins, this guy was just unlucky. Show a bit of respect. There is a difference between going mental and tripping over some seats to purposely standing on an unsafe rail above a high drop whilst drunk, a bit idiotic you must admit. However as a fellow Leicester fan I must say get well soon.
jamesmilner Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 There was blood everywhere apparently. Went to stand on a metal railing after the third and completely misjudged it. The lad concerned sits in L1, and is generally at every game. I'm sure a few people on here will know his face. Hope he's ok and makes a full recovery.

MattyFromLE Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Off his tits on morphine I imagine! Get well soon lad. ...is a hell of a drug
Karljohn Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 im sorry for comments i have made today and tonite if i could delete them i would but for now i wish him a speedy recovery in time for our next match In time for the next match?, its a fractured skull not an ingrowing toenail you tool!!
Wymsey Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 well i was sitting near to the ibcident and it seemed that his mate went to grab him but accidently pushed him off so me n my mate tgought it was apropriate to sing to his mate' you've killed ya mate youve killed ya mate yoive killed him you have killed ya mate' he didnt seem to like tgat very much lcfc <3 What a stupid statement. Would you like the chant if someone said it to you?
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 In time for the next match?, its a fractured skull not an ingrowing toenail you tool!! What you need to learn Luke/Ben/**** is that you cant one minute be laughing at someone and taking the piss out of em and then suddenly be like "oh im so sorry", "get well soon". Think before you speak cause that gob of yours will get you in some real shit one of these days you cretin. Disgrace to Leicester City you are.
Your Are My Leicester Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 This lad was unlucky! Wish him well with a speedy recovery!
andy_croydz Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Luke/Ben, how old are you? 11? A joke or not, chanting "You've killed your mate" When he's just fallen 15 feet onto his head is extremely stupid and mindless. If you were celebrating with your mate at the game and he fell 15 feet onto his head and was lying in a pool of blood... Would you like it if somebody chanted that to you? Highly doubt it.
Maybes Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Best wishes to the lad, hope he's back involved very soon. I echoe this. He's a decent lad. Just drunken stupidity has cost him, everytime I've spoke to him at awayers he is always absolutely steaming.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 I was standing next to the lad all game at the back of the stairway, he was absolutely steaming, always is whenever i've seen him which is near enough every awayday. He was unlucky, rightly or wrongly, he tried to celebrate a goal and fell at least 15 feet. Also, hope they managed to find the guys dad as they were looking for him for at least 10 minutes while he was on the ground. Finally, hats off to all stewards and police at the Scunthorpe match yesterday as they were all willing to talk to you and have a chat. Especially the copper at half-time who I was able to chat to for a good 10 minutes and agreed that standing should be allowed and that there is no issue. Cracking guy.
boristabasco Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Hi. I know the lad quite well and have texted him this morning. He is still in hospital and has been told he should expect to have about two months off work so I guess that means no matches either. He does get really drunk every game but he is a season ticket holder and goes to almost every single game home and away so he is a proper fan. He is only 21 and I am sure he won't get that drunk for ever at the match. I also wish him well as he is in a pretty bad way.
Stevosevic Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Wish the lad well and a speedy recovery but i've never understood why people get so drunk for a football match.
Matt Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 Wish the lad well and a speedy recovery but i've never understood why people get so drunk for a football match. Cos he's a LAD. Nah, I do it, I get pissed, not so i'm paralyetic or don't know what i'm doing but do get quite pissed, just what people do isn't it? Why do people go out at the weekend and gets absolutely hammered? People enjoy it, I work 12 hour days all week and like a drink at the weekend.
Simmo86 Posted 13 March 2011 Posted 13 March 2011 I echoe this. He's a decent lad. Just drunken stupidity has cost him, everytime I've spoke to him at awayers he is always absolutely steaming. How far up L1? Has he got dark hair and always with his old man whos bald?
