The Year Of The Fox Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2321426,00.html good we'll finish 2nd now
Bugg Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 The lad needs game time did you not see him last season? Yeah. I thought he was good last season but at this stage of the season we can't be giving players time to find form. We need to have players that make an instant impact if we're to have any chance (albeit a very small chance) of making the play offs this year.
21st Century Fox Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 So the Sven doubters/haters want instant gratification and promotion but they also want to bleed younger players and give them time to find their scoring shoes??
dannythefox Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Yeah. I thought he was good last season but at this stage of the season we can't be giving players time to find form. So are you saying yak and vassell are doing good job then? because none of them have found any form!
dannythefox Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 So the Sven doubters/haters want instant gratification and promotion but they also want to bleed younger players and give them time to find their scoring shoes?? Well the older ones are doing nothing!
Bugg Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 So are you saying yak and vassell are doing good job then? because none of them have found any form! Where's Waggy's form then apart from a goal vs Bristol? He's done next to nothing apart from run around like a headless chicken after that goal. I'd much rather see a proven striker at this level in Kamara who knows how to finish instead of an inconsistant young striker who's shots mainly go off target/straight at the 'keeper.
Babylon Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Good luck, you'll bloody need it with the Fryatt and Waghorn fan clubs baying for the blood of anyone who dares play instead of them.

How can the lad have form when he never gets a full game under his belt? where vassells and yaks form? if he runs around like a headless chicken like you say it would be better than what they do. If waggy had played the games that vassells played he would of scored loads more and after last season is waggy not a proven goal scorer?
Guest ttfn Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Personally I'd have saved my money, you never know he could be a turning point, the miracle we need to get us in the playoffs but as it stands our season is over. I'd be looking at sending Yakubu back, which would save us nearly £300k if his wages are as reported and I wouldn't be looking at signing anyone else on loan, I'd save money for the summer. But as I said he may prove to be a turning point, get us back on track, Sven obviously wants him the owners have obviously stumped up the money for him so are happy to take the risk of wasting more money and as has already been said in this thread it might be the it is to look at him with a view of signing him in the summer. He is here now, hope he does us well and is the turning point in our current form, good luck to him. Agree with every word.

ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 good sign but i cant help but feel this could sign byebye Waggy
Jimothy Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 no he's not, one season doesn't make you proven - to be a proven goal scorer you need to be netting a good tally each season for several seasons. But then you need to get those seasons to prove yourself. If you get one good season, surely you deserve another. If you balls that one up then people can start to question you. Incidentally I notice from Kamara's stats he's never been a proven goalscorer. So how many seasons of not being up to it does it take to be proven as non-goalscorer?

Gotta say when we were first linked with Kamara I looked on wiki to see his game/goal stats and it didn't fill me with excitement. But i'll give him a chance, as I keep saying hopefully he'll turn us around, not a risk i'd have took but it's not up to me.
Babylon Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Finally someone speaks sense! He's right... but when he does come on he can't control a ball, can't shoot, and I lose count of how many times he wrestles with his marker instead of going to the ball and someone nips in front of him to steal it. If you can't do the basics he's not going to get many chances i'm afraid.
Walshy5 Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 This might have already been said but i cant be arsed to read through the whole thread but I dont see where he,d fit in unless we switch to 4-4-2 because i cant see sven dropping Yakubu
googie Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Finally someone speaks sense! Oh,dear. i'm confused?? where is this leading??? thread title??? come on guys stick to the subject
Bugg Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Finally someone speaks sense! So someone who disagree's with you speaks no sense. Face it, if Waggy doesn't miss chance after chance in the brief time he does get on the pitch then IMO he would get more chances, but he does which is why Sven doesn't trust him to start.

googie Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 so yak and vassell dont miss chance after chance after chance then? vassells better than waggy i think not. Sven thinks he is and with respect he prob.knows a bit more about football than you. He gets 1mill a year. You post on a fans forum.i think he's more qualified.
FoxesFan123 Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 --- King --- Wellens --- Gally - Yak - Kamara - Vas 4-2-4! Going for it!
Bugg Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 so yak and vassell dont miss chance after chance after chance then? vassells better than waggy i think not. You are like talking to a brick wall What I'm trying to say is that Waghorn has not proved to Sven that he deserves a place in the starting line up. All he has done is make himself look below par in the minimal time he's had on the field. So in response to your OP, what Waghorn needs to deserve a start is to not play so shit in the time he gets. In honesty, I agree about him not getting enough time, but at the moment he's not showing Sven that he deserves it, hence bring Kamara in.
carterfox90 Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 to little TO late imo it will b a miracle if we get into the play offs!!!
