Dylan Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Gives us a little insight on whether he can consistently score- whether we should get him next season. Never know, gets on a very very good scoring streak and we may sneak playoffs (I'll remain optimistic)
FuriousFox46 Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Oh! You beat me to it. Let's hope he can perform for more than the first 3 games....
m00nie Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 he scored for fun last time in the championship.. seems a good addition, just hope it dont mean were banking on getting to the play offs this season..
acooling08 Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Drop Yakubu and put Kamara straight in.. What is Kamara known for? Hopefully not another lazy player. All I remember about him is his goal celebration with his hand over his ear.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 We need another striking option, and it's unlikely that we'll find many that are much better than Kamara. Overall, pleased with this, don't see any negatives. Think it's too late, though.
whitlock Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 No harm i dont think. Playoffs seem doom and gloomed now, so nothing really to lose. Could be a good signing for next year.
acooling08 Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 So is he quick, strong, good header, good right/left foot, good at creating chances...? I just hope he isn't another Yak.
Joeb.lcfc Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Is his contract up in the summer? think so he signed 4year contract in july 07'
SMX11 Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Waghorn! Waghorn! That's his chant sorted out. so true.
Matt Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Personally I'd have saved my money, you never know he could be a turning point, the miracle we need to get us in the playoffs but as it stands our season is over. I'd be looking at sending Yakubu back, which would save us nearly £300k if his wages are as reported and I wouldn't be looking at signing anyone else on loan, I'd save money for the summer. But as I said he may prove to be a turning point, get us back on track, Sven obviously wants him the owners have obviously stumped up the money for him so are happy to take the risk of wasting more money and as has already been said in this thread it might be the it is to look at him with a view of signing him in the summer. He is here now, hope he does us well and is the turning point in our current form, good luck to him.
AndyNorway Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2321426,00.html Kamara got pace and great skills, I am sure he will do great for us.
somebum Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Very greedy player, very much hated for his laziness at every club he has played for. Why would he suddenly start trying here?
Zingari Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 i really think this could be a terrific signing , but unfortunately maybe, 3 or 4 games too late

Why would Everton let us off £300k? They are not a charity.
Matt Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 We have a contract to loan the Yak until the end of the season. Why would Everton let us off £300k? They are not a charity. True, but normally there are call back, termination and other clauses in these contracts, what the clauses and terms are we don't know, I'd certainly like the know/look into it.
The Padster Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Very greedy player, very much hated for his laziness at every club he has played for. Why would he suddenly start trying here? Haha, I wouldn't of expected anything else from you.

ozleicester Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Certainly shows we have not given up on chasing the playoffs. If they believe, so do i another good loan thanks very much
somebum Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Haha, I wouldn't of expected anything else from you. Well someone has to remain realistic amongst a sea of delusion
