Ricey Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Leicester City Football Forum said that the shirt is already been made.. Yep, yet he refused to confirm it would be Burrda making it. If it was, he would have confirmed that it was.

Ricey Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 He said it would be the same manufacturer... If I remember, he said they have a 3 year deal with Burrda and he can't forsee that changing. If he's seen the kit and they want it released before the end of the season, he would KNOW that it was Burrda and would have said "yes, it will be made by Burrda".
foxes never quit 92 Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Exactly. What's going to make more money abroad? Nike/Adidas or Buurda? I don't think they thought of it that why. Apparently Burrda is the biggest shirt contract we have ever had! so in financial terms can't really complain http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2090129,00.html

sdb Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 It'll end up being another Burrda. Every season we get our hopes up about having a decent kit. Live and learn people!
Haydos Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 It'll end up being another Burrda. Every season we get our hopes up about having a decent kit. Live and learn people! The kit is decent. You want a generic Nike template?
Craig Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 I just want a simple, smart, blue shirt with a decent fit and decent material. I couldn't give a toss who provides it. Simple.
millzi Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 The return of Fox Leisure This and Walkers slapped across the front
sdb Posted 30 March 2011 Posted 30 March 2011 The kit is decent. You want a generic Nike template? No it's not and yes I do.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 30 March 2011 Posted 30 March 2011 Have you tried ebay? Tried... it's possibly one of the world's most difficult shirts to find! Can't even get it over in Belgium online...
ajthefox Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 I would like a collar. That is all (: You mean like this beauty...?
Kitchandro Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 Why are people complaining about Burrda? This is the best kit we've had for ages.
Finnegan Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 Why are people complaining about Burrda? This is the best kit we've had for ages. Oh hello Mr. EVERYTHINGWEHAVEATTHECLUBNOWISPERFECTSTOPWISHINGFORBETTER, long time no chat. As with some people's issues with our players, it needn't necessarily be because people are complaining or hate Burrda; they just hope the new owners will bring in better. I bought the current home shirt for my mate who recently went back to Japan for good and I was stunned at how poor quality it is, physically, compared to "leading" brands who obviously have a lot more financial clout. Since supporting City we've never, ever really had a kit I felt I'd actually own for the sakes of the design itself as opposed to just the fact it was a Leicester shirt. It'd be nice to have something a bit flashy made by a top company for once.

The only issue was the walkers crisps badges got dirty really easily. Even the Joma stuff was good apart from the printing, which is starting to fade. The Nike and Addidas stuff is obviously usually pretty well made but they are all identikit of several thousand football clubs worldwide with the team colours thrown on. E.g. The new Chinese kits : http://www.footballshirtculture.com/11/12-kits/chinese-super-league-roundup-2011.html

Ricey Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 Why are people complaining about Burrda? This is the best kit we've had for ages. Burrda didn't design it though, Joma did. Burrda kits all look tacky, basic and badly designed. Hardly the impression we want to give out.
Finchy Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 I thought the Le Coq Sportif black kit was amazing, and I really liked the Joma kit last year, but apart from that our kits in my lifetime have been an embarrassment for a club our size.
Kitchandro Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 Oh hello Mr. EVERYTHINGWEHAVEATTHECLUBNOWISPERFECTSTOPWISHINGFORBETTER, long time no chat. Yeh cos I've been really positive about being midtable, Yakubu, Ricardo, the team spirit, Mandaric, etc this season. There's a middle ground between loving everything and hating everything you know...
Samilktray Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 Anyone saying Burrda isnt that bad needs to take a long, hard look at the yellow kit. Hideous
evs_the_fox Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 Why are people complaining about Burrda? This is the best kit we've had for ages. It's Joma's design with a Burrda badge stuck on it. Last season's was better as it contained no sponsor and prior to that the 03/04 Alliance & Leicester shirt dicked over the current one on looks.
millzi Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 You mean like this beauty...? Fancy getting a bigger picture next time Re-sized down to 34% it still takes up my whole screen
ajthefox Posted 31 March 2011 Posted 31 March 2011 Fancy getting a bigger picture next time Re-sized down to 34% it still takes up my whole screen I did laugh when it first loaded up, was about the first decent one I found though!
