kylestyle06 Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Also don't know if it's been mentioned, but next season we are having swipe cards instead of books
OmnipresentSam Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 I was honestly expecting a bigger difference between the two prices..
BrummieFOX Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Also don't know if it's been mentioned, but next season we are having swipe cards instead of books Oh is that confirmed? Sweet! Will prefer having a nice credit card sized season ticket in my wallet rather than a booklet. Also my mates got hold of my season ticket booklet this season and wrote AVFC on every page, haha! Anyone know when they're being delivered?
kylestyle06 Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Usually July? Managed to get mine about 2 weeks before this season started .
ajthefox Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Not too bad that's not, pleased I got the early bird. Still well chuffed that students get the under 18 price!
Brown Fox Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Anyone know about how to get a student season ticket? I'm in college doing A-levels and am going to uni in September but am hoping to come back and watch most home games. It says you need a letter of proof from the uni but seeing as I'm not there yet and am still in college I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated!

Unless you've got a letter from your university now stating you have a place you would have to go about it like this. Pay for your season ticket in the full amount, when you start university get a letter of proof that your studying then take the letter into the ticket office and Leicester will refund the difference. How do I know this? My mate done it yesterday.
Christoph Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Does a college student not count as a student? Just say your under 18 even
Brown Fox Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Does a college student not count as a student? Just say your under 18 even They already know my date of birth because I have a season ticket now. They sent me a nice letter a week or so ago saying I am now only eligible for the under 22 ticket which would be over £250 and with uni costs etc. It would be very expensive. I tried phoning earlier but surprise surprise i was put on hold! Unless you've got a letter from your university now stating you have a place you would have to go about it like this. Pay for your season ticket in the full amount, when you start university get a letter of proof that your studying then take the letter into the ticket office and Leicester will refund the difference. How do I know this? My mate done it yesterday. Thanks for that!

How do I know this? My mate done it yesterday. Yes... I can relate to this >_> Ive got to reapply to college to continue A-Levels for next year at the end of April. LCFC took the U22 price out of me to later refund when I am a confirmed student next year. Just enough time for the money to get a little interest in their bank account... I also heard about the swipe system. About time too! Im fed up of sifting through my ST book to find the right ticket
body102 Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 I got mine and my sons in the family stand for £389 this included the early bird and a family discount . would be £498 without the discounts . A good saving and working it out , it works out at £8.50 a game each for us which i think is a bargain
Babylon Posted 29 March 2011 Posted 29 March 2011 Best, most useful benefit ever: 'Discount at ALL King Power outlets in Thailand' I might be going next year so it may well be worth It!!!!!
