The Year Of The Fox Posted 7 April 2011 Posted 7 April 2011 Allocated 6.5k I think. On sale ere www.coalvilletownfc.co.uk Sorry if link doesn't work, im writing this via mobile! Lets have a full allocation!
ajthefox Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 I know they won't take loads, but why are they even given an allocation? Surely if there was demand for more they could have them right? It's not like there'll be 20 odd thousand corporate seats and they'll sell Wembley out is it...
Mack Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Because Wembley will only open a couple of blocks, and employ stewards etc to do so. So they ask for an estimation and set the stadium up accordingly.
Fox You Forest Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Make your mind up lad, is it a good thing or a bad thing? cringe or no cringe that is the question.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 8 April 2011 Author Posted 8 April 2011 As said before- cringe. Not at myself and others like me. But at the hundreds that will act like they've been going coalville games all their lives, joining in with songs, wearing the inevitable face paint, wigs and replica shirts. Me? I'm going for the piss up and to chuckle at the thought of little old doleville playing at wembley
Mack Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 And a lot of the hangers on will have spent their lives telling everyone that will listen that Coalville is full of retards.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 8 April 2011 Author Posted 8 April 2011 Hanger on? Trust me im going for the piss up with the lads and the night in the flying scotsman. By all accounts coalville will get hammered anyway. Im not hanging on to owt, though maybe the bar at 10am that morning
accessory Posted 8 April 2011 Posted 8 April 2011 Coalville are on fire at the moment - 20 goals in the last four games. If they keep up that form in the next month they've every chance of collecting silverware at Wembley - something that took us SEVEN attempts before managing.

samlcfc Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 How would you know they are going to get hammered if you dont watch them play, so therefore you don't know good they may be ? he said by "all accounts" to be fair
Webbo Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 £26 for that!!! you gotta be joking! For a national final, at Wembley? Seems very reasonable to me.
Finnegan Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 For a national final, at Wembley? Seems very reasonable to me. ... Non league game in half empty stadium?
purpleronnie Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 ... Non league game in half empty stadium? That's being generous.
Webbo Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 I'm sure some people paid more than £26 to see us play Coventry at an unfull Walkers stadium. They could have watched that match last year and probably be able to see it next season too. Neither Coalville nor their opponents , don't know who, are likely to get to Wembly again any time soon. I think you're being a bit miserable if you don't think that's worth £26.
Sly Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 £26 seems rather expensive. A lot of people will see this as a great chance to have a day out in London and see the local town play in a wembley final. All in all, the more people that do attend, the better for Coalville I suppose as it will help them progress with the extra income they garner. As a side note, do they show this game on TV?
filbertway Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 Glad it's £25, the clubs that get to the final deserve to make some money from it. There are some very good teams at this level so to make the final is a huge achievement. I'm glad whitley bay have finally applied for promotion, it's looking like they will go up this year meaning they won't be in the vase next year. So a few other teams will get a chance at reaching the final.

It's not on TV no. The extra income they get should amount to around £100k. Huge at this level.

I know they are in good form and are 2nd in the league with games in hand?? I only know all this as my nephew plays for the under 8's and he tells me when I see him!

I only know all this as my nephew plays for the under 8's and he tells me when I see him! Coalville have applied yeh, the league will be decided in the next few weeks. If coalville can pick up 4 points against tipton(1st) and stratford(6th would be higher had it not been for an appaling start) I think we'll get promoted. 8 points behind 1st with 3 games in hand as it stands. Should be an exiting end to the season
The Year Of The Fox Posted 9 April 2011 Author Posted 9 April 2011 26 is a lot when it cost me 15 for england away to wales
purpleronnie Posted 9 April 2011 Posted 9 April 2011 26 is a lot when it cost me 15 for england away to wales Thats wales not wembley though. I can't see too many being put off about seeing their local side for £26.
