Salieri Posted 25 April 2011 Author Posted 25 April 2011 O'Sullivan v Higgins in the Quarter Final! Should be a cracking game. Hopefully Ronnie will batter him.
shen Posted 25 April 2011 Posted 25 April 2011 Great final session between Bingham and Ding. Some cracking safety shots under maximum pressure. Very tough on Bingham though.
hbkkids Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 would like ronnie o'sullivan to win but if he goes out i would like mark selby to win.
Matt Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 What's Selby doing?! Selby 1 - 3 Ding. Ding looking like making it 4 was aswell! Higgins 3 - 2 O'Sullivan.
Salieri Posted 26 April 2011 Author Posted 26 April 2011 Some cracking (close) matches taking shape, apart from Trump blowing Dott away.
StanSP Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 Anyone else see where Allen and Williams stopped their match to see if Dott would complete his maximum? Thought it was quite amusing for both players to do it so nonchalantly. This has been a very good match though. Some good snooker on board as well as some poor misses.
shen Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Selby is completely out of sorts... He has no chance if he keeps this up
Corky Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Surprised by that, having watched Ding struggle against Bingham early on and Selby destroy Hendry.
shen Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Surprised by that, having watched Ding struggle against Bingham early on and Selby destroy Hendry. And Selby's superior head-to-head record and recent semi-final win against Ding at the China Open coupled with the fact Ding's never been this far at the WC, makes this highly surprising. Gotta love the Crucible
Wycombe Fox Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Selby v Ding 12th frame is awesome. About 35 minutes now. Some great safety by Selby.
shen Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Selby v Ding 12th frame is awesome. About 35 minutes now. Some great safety by Selby. Selby just hit a great safety in the 13th using the jaw intentionally and snookering Ding behind the black. Brilliant stuff now...
Matt Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Selby needs the break now. Looking like going 6 - 10 down I reckon. In serious trouble. I've only seen a few frames last night/few frames this morning of this, Is Selby making mistakes thus deserves to be 6 - 9 (Nearly 10) down or is he just unlucky? In the16th frame i've seen Selby make quite a few mistakes.
StanSP Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Yeah I think he's just given up for this frame and needs the interval. Just playing off each other's safety's now.
Benji Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 With Selby 9-6 down, had a cheeky bet on him to win with some nice odds.
Matt Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 This frame has been littered with mistakes by Selby, Placed some good safety shots but when given the opportunity to pot he's made mistakes. Thankfully this is over for this afternoon, he needs to comeback tonight firing on all cylinders for any chance.
StanSP Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 I'll be having the snooker on my laptop and Clasico on TV. Come on Selby!
Salieri Posted 27 April 2011 Author Posted 27 April 2011 Can't wait for the final session in the O'Sullivan/Higgins match, finely poised at 8-8. Come on the Rocket.
Matt Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Selby brings it all back square. Selby 10 - 10 Ding. C'mon Mark Playing well so far in this session! Higgins 11 - 9 O'Sullivan.
purpleronnie Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 O'Sullivan threw away too many frames. Selby's just lost a massive frame, should have won it.
Leicester Lass Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Another mountain to climb for Selby, needs to win the last 3 frames.
Matt Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 Well thats my fiver gone. After watching him against Hendry was quite confident! My worry was he couldn't keep that form up for the rest of the tournament, I expect him to go further than the quarters though, Oh well partly unlucky, partly made too many mistakes. I hold whoever said they expect him to make the final (Or similar) responsible
