Narborough_fox Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Right I've missed it, who's fault for the goals?
Haydos Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 This ****in defence is getting on my tits. Lazy incompetent bastards. Would be better off playing our youth team defence at this rate. Least they would be greatful to ****ing play! Are you even watching? They've been fine 90% of the first half. The midfield on the other hand have provided no support when we're hit on the counter.
Onions Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Lets be honest, 2 early goals, both on the break. We've been playing great, just can't finish. Same again second half and this will be a totally different result
ousefox Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Good end to the second half, if we could score goals we could have had a much better season. Still deserve to be losing, although if we carry on like the end of the second half we could scrape a draw.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Right I've missed it, who's fault for the goals? Bamba
Dylan Posted 16 April 2011 Author Posted 16 April 2011 That half sums up our ****ing season... Shit start... play quite well but can't ****ing take any chances... concede goals due to poor defending...
zubi Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Right I've missed it, who's fault for the goals? Sven's apparantly
BoneDog Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 I woke up feeling gay today and was in a great mood thinking of the football that was to come. Hell, I even skipped to the bathroom. Then this shit happens and now I'm all depressed.
lestajigs Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 So many half chances. All they've done is play on the break. Yea and look Like scoring every time they come forward against our shite defence
Haydos Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Right I've missed it, who's fault for the goals? Naughton out of position and a covering Bamba got skinned way too easily for the first. Second was a weak clearance (from Oakley?) but then class by Kebe and McAnuff, wouldn't say he was at fault. EDIT: Not Oakley's fault at all. We've had 2 decent chances which have been blocked.
Kitchandro Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Yep thanks................. Obviously you'd rather be where Sousa left us.... Grow up, Sven's saved us this season, anything else is a major bonus
Webbo Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 I missed the goals looking for a decent stream but the rest that I've seen we've dominated.
C.M.R.F. Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 I hate the fact people who ****ing think Sven saved our season. Do you choose to ignore the fact that we were also taken over by a wealthy thai consortium who have invested a sh*t load of money mid way through? With that amount of money, most managers would be doing a good job, the reason for the anger towered Sven is because of the very clear, strange selections and tactics he is using, which aren't working. Ok back to the game... 100% the same opinion.
Benji Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Frustrating. Dominate play but Reading are playing on the break much like they were the away side. With Kebe, Long and McAnuff they are doing it very well. Grr
Dylan Posted 16 April 2011 Author Posted 16 April 2011 Needed a goal before halftime imo... No way its going to be that open in the second half. **** it, might as well throw everything we've got at them in the 2nd half, even consider 3 at the back... Our goal difference is shit anyway, a few more goals wouldn't hurt it.
FrankieADZ Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 dont feel confident when we have Bruma in the centre half, After seeing him get knocked off the ball by Shane Long it backs up my lack of confidence in him.
Dylan Posted 16 April 2011 Author Posted 16 April 2011 Lets be honest, 2 early goals, both on the break. We've been playing great, just can't finish. Same again second half and this will be a totally different result How many times have we heard that this season?
sdb Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Bruma should've done better for their 2nd. 1st was Bamba caught flat footed. We look good going forward. Bruma either doesn't give a shit or is playing at a level too high for himself.
s11nny Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 i think because of the quality we have upfront, opposition tactics seem to be to double up on us and get back in numbers when we attack. works well against us, cant seem to get our goals when we put pressure on. where as when teams attack us all i can see is acres of space. most teams seem like they have figured us out
The Doctor Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Right I've missed it, who's fault for the goals? Bamba 1st, most of the defence 2nd. Defence unsettled and struggling having been good the last two games (while bruma was missing) - Chelsea scum costing us indirectly, Bamba can't play LCB but is forced there when Bruma plays, Bruma can't play anywhere from what i've seen.
lcfc_jme Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Way I've seen it, we've been the better side for much of the first half and could - probably should - have scored 3 maybe 4. Reading on the other hand have mostly (to my mind) lumped long balls forward, and 2 defensive errors have resulted in them scoring twice. Sums up the season, really. Bamba at fault for the first, then couldn't tell whether it was Naughton or Bruma backing off inside the box - whoever it was is at fault for the second. Wellens should have scored, Kamara should've done better, Bamba was highly unlucky. Encouraging but so, so frustrating.

Larry_LCFC Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 Are you even watching? They've been fine 90% of the first half. The midfield on the other hand have provided no support when we're hit on the counter. Yes i am watching. And listening to RL. Bamba and Bruma are having a stinking partnership. They havent got a sodding clue.
s11nny Posted 16 April 2011 Posted 16 April 2011 hope we can get an early second half goal and use that confidence to push for a second....maybe a third (however unlikely that seems)
