accessory Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Scholes at his peak was one of the finest players the Premier League has ever seen. Even greats like Thierry Henry and Zinedine Zidane raved about him. In 2011, though, he's in serious decline, only good for 15-20 games a season at most - not what we need at all. His inability to tackle, shown all too graphically at the weekend, would also be a liability in the Championship. Top and Sven should look elsewhere for a marquee signing.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 Hes a massive oldham fan and has even ruled out playing for them
dannythefox Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 No chance hes man utd through and through he will never play for anyone else.
Fox92 Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 pathetic that anyone can link this man to our club after the tackle he put in yesterday , we have enough cowards here already . What a stupid thing to put So you wouldn't take him because he made a bad tackle? In that case, nearly every footballer in the world shouldn't play for Leicester City. Scholes has always been bad at tackling anyway. Can't see him playing for anyone else except Manchester United and Oldham.
gavboc Posted 18 April 2011 Posted 18 April 2011 I heard once he's an Oldham fan so for purely sentimental purposes the only club I can see him playing for other than united is them
Tommy G Posted 19 April 2011 Posted 19 April 2011 My god people actually saying they wouldn't want a player here because his legs have gone? Thank **** none of those people are never managing our team. Absolute ******. He wontcome anyway but people think managing a football club is similar to firing up footie manager and clicking away signing 18yr olds because they are promising. He is at the end of his career but has more medals than most players in the world. We aren't good enough for him anyway - best midfielder by a mile in the last 15years. Will gerrard and lamps still be around at 36 playing for a top european team? I think not. That's why giggs and scholes are different.
Ashley Posted 19 April 2011 Posted 19 April 2011 at the comment about Paul Scholes being over rated just
themotivator Posted 19 April 2011 Posted 19 April 2011 I don't think paul Scholes is overrated, I simply don't like him. He would obviously be an incredible asset to our midfield (with more experience than our entire starting 11 put together), but since he almost definitely wont be coming anywhere near this club i will just leave my bitter and unwanted opinion that i have held since secondary school. He is a dirty little tosser. As for the one man one club praises. I bet he would have a different manifesto if he had started his career at bolton. why would he want to leave the most successful club in england. his complexion would not fare well in madrid, milan or barcelona would it?
MrSpaM Posted 19 April 2011 Posted 19 April 2011 I'd be worried he'd get sent off every match playing in the championship, mind you the people saying he wouldn't be able to do a job for us are deluded imo
themotivator Posted 19 April 2011 Posted 19 April 2011 i never said i wouldn't want him . he'd be fantastic, but until the day he pulls on a blue shirt i reserve the right to scoff at his presence.
