LCFC2007 Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 I heard on the radio on the way back from the reading match that paul scholes could be retiring at the end of the season. Would be a decent player to have for leicester if sven could talk him out of retiring at the end of the season. Cant see him getting in man uniteds first team next season. Would be an excellent buy and would give leicester that little bit extra in the middle.
MattyFromLE Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Just no. Young promising players who will fight for the club please!
Finchy Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Just no. Young promising players who will fight for the club please! So you wouldn't take Scholes if he wanted to come here? Madness.
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 No chance. When Scholes can't get in the Utd team that'll be it for him, same as it was for Gary Neville & same as it will be for Giggs. He'll never play anywhere else.
jamesmilner Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 pathetic that anyone can link this man to our club after the tackle he put in yesterday , we have enough cowards here already .
LCFC2007 Posted 17 April 2011 Author Posted 17 April 2011 yeah he made a bad tackle but your seriously telling me you wouldnt have paul scholes if he wanted to come?
Joe. Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 I think the only other team he said he'd consider playing for is Oldham.
Joeb.lcfc Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 would take him but there is NO way we would get him
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Would never happen. Would absoultely love it if he did though. One club man. Legend. One of the best midfielders of the past 15 or so years. Shame he's had a few injuries and some stupidity has prevented him being even better.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Let me get this straight... Paul Scholes is retiring, will he come here to play? You do understand what retiring means don't you?
The Doctor Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Let me get this straight... Paul Scholes is retiring, will he come here to play? You do understand what retiring means don't you? To be fair to the OP he did say "If sven can talk him out of retiring".

Not only are you an absolute moron for starting a thread as retarded as this, but you do realise the reason Scholes retired as an England player was because he was being misused on the left in the team? Who was the manager of England at the time? Sven. I doubt he's SGE's biggest fan.

cairnsy Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 There's more chance of me supporting forest then scholes joining Leicester. There's absolutely no chance and it's just ridiculous that people think we have a chance
Dames Posted 17 April 2011 Posted 17 April 2011 Rather not. He's not getting any younger and he's awful at defending. He'd just be another passenger in a midfield full of passengers. I don't think his legs would be up to it either. Hence why hes retiring.
