Guest Bilo Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 It's gutting to lose to our local rivals in such a manner, and twice as gutting that one of the division's most arrogant and deluded fanbases are rejoicing at our expense tonight, but there are some reasons to be cheerful. I'm not buggering off till we as a forum has collated at least 50 for next season. I'll set the ball rolling with 10. 1 - King, Gallagher and Wellens have signed new contracts. 2 - The Thais are prepared to spend money to get us in the Premiership. 3 - Sven will get a pre-season to sort his team out in his way. 4 - We get to clear out some dead wood. 5- Match tickets will remain affordable. 6 - Epic away days. Possibility of Barnsley, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Brighton, Bristol City, Doncaster, Palace, Derby and Forest next season. Give me that over £40 for Bolton away any day. 7 - No gloryhunting supporters demanding Sven's sacking after a 2-0 away defeat to Manchester United. 8 - More 3pm kick-offs on a Saturday. 9 - Likely promotion battle leading to less doom mongers on here. 10 - Forest won't go up either.
Narborough_fox Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 11. We get proper badge, player faces and kits on Football Manager 2012.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Cue Ian Dury. 12. No relegation battle next season. 13. More likely to be on TV.
Matt Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 12. Abeit not mathematically impossible, the season is all but over! (No if we win we'll be within 2 point of the playoffs only to fuck it up the next game anymore!) If you think otherwise and think we will make it, you're deluded, feel free to quote if we make it, i'm sure you won't be quoting me though.
monkeyspank Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 14. we still have sat sun and monday .. wooop .. to get drunk and realise that coming from rock bottom to challenging for a playoff spot is something to commend sven for.

Couldn't agree with this more. Especially 7. Affordable, quality away days are the things I look forward to. After going to the so called 'big clubs' then he novelty will have worn off, and I would rather beat Barnsley 3-0 (example), than lose 5-0 to man utd. You would get the one away dayers going to jizz over Rooney.
Narborough_fox Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 15. 46 game season rather than a 38 game season.
Mark_w Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 17. Next seasons Season Ticket renewal will be much cheaper
Jackirius Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 22. We can give the youngsters a bit of a run out after we are cruising the league.
Asha Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Not so much for next season, but we have a three game opportunity to give some kidda's a chance in the first team, try a few things out and get some confidence back before pre-season.
Mark_w Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 23. It'll be much more enjoyable when we go up next year without switching managers through the season, selling some of our best players and doing it without a massive number of loanees, Keep The Faith.
Gaffer Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 11. We get proper badge, player faces and kits on Football Manager 2012. THIS. I like your thinking, this actually brightened my day, thank you.
The Doctor Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 25. Despite the fact that this league is already bad enough at this, fans will still be treated more like human beings rather than criminals than if we were to go up.
Guest Bilo Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Oh go on then, I'll give you an 11th. 26 - With QPR in the Premiership and the teams coming down not renowned for spending, we will be THE money side in the division enabling us to make some cracking signings.
21st Century Fox Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 I like this thread, I didn't feel like vomiting with rage whilst reading it.
The Doctor Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 27 - I may get laid on Blackpool tower. no you won't.
Jackirius Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 27 - I may get laid on Blackpool tower. Laid out after mouthing off to some Cackpool chav maybe?
martyn Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 28) Yuki might have learnt to say "I'll have this one son"
