Brainy Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 Theres not much that is bigger than this. If there wasnt so much hype from Stringer then people wouldnt be so dismissive of this game.
Mav Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 This will be full of plastic man u fans, lets do it at bernabeu.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 OH **** OF STRINGER YOU TWAT. Thought this would be something GOOD for the club involving debt pay-off or a signing. Playing Real Madrid? May be fun, but there is no beneift to the club and I certainly won't be going. I doubt it will be their 'all star' team anyway... Stringer is a little tosser
Dan Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 Lets be honest, was there ever gonna be any news from us that's "bigger than Fergie leaving Man Utd" ? No, we all knew that was hype, unless it was us going out of business etc... Very happy with this friendly and I do agree that the fact we're playing them nay even give us a small edge over some clubs in the transfer window.
jonthefox Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 One of my favourite bastard teams coming to the Walkers. Definitely going. me too. Hot dogs are on you.
MacksLCFC Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 I doubt it will be their 'all star' team anyway... Stringer is a little tosser The whole Real Madid team is all star - absolute quality throughout. They put 6 past Valencia at the weekend with pretty much their B team. Whilst Barca have the best team in the world (as in best starting 11), I'd argue Real have the strongest squad, for sure. I seldom listen to Radio Leicester so couldn't possibly comment on Stringer. Quite obviously has a huge passion for the club though, that much is clear : )
topharry123 Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 Now this is exciting. It will be nice to see our players get used to playing against some of the worlds best, the season after next they'll be doing it week in week out !! Shame i'm in Texas, would love to get to see this one!

The Year Of The Fox Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 The difference being KIA actually told us info and the critism he got was a disgrace, Bert just comes across as bragging that he knows now. Bert did know, I told him at the game yesterday
The Doctor Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 Whereabouts in the Kop? the corner where the east stand meets the kop.

stivesfox Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 Great news we get a massive preseason friendly against a side like Real Madrid, and something El Prato Stringer has blown out of proportion his comments made only radio serve only to get people's hopes up and start speculation, the way he pitched this on the airwaves was totally over the top was no need for it, and his I know something you don't know cocky arrogance serves to piss people off. What he should have said was tune in at 08.30 we will announce a tasty pre season fixture that we will disclose in the morning bulletin, he serves to just wind people up! Tosser
Bert Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 I very much doubt they'll put a weak team out. We're going to be paying them a sum of at least £1m, with the agreement being that they have to name a strong line up.

Corky Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 Did you all really believe it was going to be earth-shattering news from Stringer?
stivesfox Posted 26 April 2011 Posted 26 April 2011 No very true Corky! Well Stringers moved on now trying to get in Paul Gallaghers mrs knickers on twitter and arse licking and promoting Robbie savage competition! So guess no further earth shattering revelations!
JadeFalcon Posted 27 April 2011 Posted 27 April 2011 corky, well we knew it was'nt going to be earth shattering. in the FT chat during the match i said maybe stringers' massive news was, that he had managed to open a bag of crisps without spazzing the entire contents around his office in one go
