ACF Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 Let them be promoted, but the team's they played against with the player involved get the TV right's money.
Fox92 Posted 2 May 2011 Posted 2 May 2011 They should be only fined, or start with a points deduction next year if the FA want to make a meal out of it. I think this because Warnock didn't sign the player, and they didn't sign him this season when they have achieved promotion. Its not really fair on QPR's form this season, and I'd hate to see them get a points deduction. Warnock is a real character, but a top manager. He is loyal and that comes across on the touchline. I'll always like him. He buys a season ticket at Worksop Town every year just to give the club money - I think thats fantastic really.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Dickie Greenleaf will be gutted for his hero if this happens. You gotta admit, he makes the game more interesting.

Hope someone smashes the cunt himself so he misses the playoffs. It looked like he changed direction to spear her, not his natural path? Not even a small apology which is shocking/unsportsmanlike imo. Regarding QPR, I actually hope they don't get a point deduction now; don't want Cardiff in the Prem- let them stay down and suffer financially. Wouldn't mind a deduction for NEXT season though, so QPR come straight back down
Guest Bilo Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Former FA chief says QPR should expect points deduction
Grayster84 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 I am gonna laugh my balls off if QPR get deducted points. What are your thoughts?
cc_star Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 West Ham committed the same defence as far as I know, their penalty was to pay SheffUtd £25m compensation... I'd be surprised if QPR got points deduction (surely they'd appeal using WH as an example), perhaps they'll have to pay Cardiff £25m
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 I'd rather they weren't in our division next season.
SMX11 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 It is a serious offense and requires punishment but it should have been like 2-3 months ago. They won't have the bottle to dock them out of the promotion spots.
city4lyf Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 they can't use west ham as an example as the third party rule hadn't yet been introduced. big fine and 3 points max i reckon. Possibly suspended points, if so maybe more than 3
Guest Bilo Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 I think they'll be allowed to go up but docked points next season. Probably no more than 5 or 6 but they may well be enough to bollock up their season.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 I reckon it'll probably only be a suspended sentence. Even if its instigated straight away I reckon a point from the last game will see em win the league still
Guest Bilo Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 The problem is that Luton precedent of a 10 point deduction for illegal payments to agents. Not to mention the problem of the fact that the Tevez incident caused an enormous legal wrangle that the FA will be keen to avoid. Cardiff may very well launch a legal case of their own if they fail to win promotion as a result of a team who have broken the rules. It's hardly as if Faurlin has been a bit part player either. I think a points deduction is on the cards myself, the legal implications could be huge if there isn't. It's not as if QPR would have a legal leg to stand on either if they were denied promotion either, they knew the rules and the penalties for breaking them and there is a precedent of Luton being deducted 10 points for the same offence they've committed. Like Palios, I expect a points deduction that will either prevent their promotion this season or condemn them to a relegation battle next.
Simmo86 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Hope they get points docked thus finishing 3rd in league and playing Forest in playoffs playoffs instead of Cardiff who I think Forest could beat!!!
RedHux Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Hope they get points docked thus finishing 3rd in league and playing Forest in playoffs playoffs instead of Cardiff who I think Forest could beat!!! We've beaten them(Cardiff) twice already, and our games against QPR were both drawn. We fear no one except ourselves...................and with good reason.
Father Ted Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 This is a tough one. This could be a full-on win-win situation. QPR deducted 15 points, Swansea win and Cardiff lose, consigning both Cardiff and QPR to the play-offs with Swansea going up auto. And with even more fortune, Reading go up through the play-offs. I would completely piss myself at the QPR fans (who laughed at us at their ground when they thought they had already won the league), Neil Warnock, Taarabt the stuck up faggot, Dave Jones the kiddy fiddler, Cardiff fans, Chopra, Bothroyd, Bellamy, Whittingham, (hopefully Cardiff in serious financial trouble), Forest at fcuking up again, Earnshaw and Billy Davies. This could get so funny

Rest of the post though, dream situation and I would laugh at each scenario so long as Reading beat QPR in the final and Warnock left Loftus Road in a strop like he did at Sheffield United after the Tevez saga.
Fox92 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 We've beaten them(Cardiff) twice already, and our games against QPR were both drawn. I was talking to one of my mates who support Nottingham Forest today at college, and although he doesn't think so, I think that you'll beat Cardiff in the play offs if the table stays as it is with Queens Park Rangers facing no action. Reading against Swansea will be tough to call though. Swansea don't seem to score enough goals.
Kenners Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Interesting read, nicked from a retweet by the 72's twitter. My link
Guest Bilo Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 That's a good read. It's perhaps slightly tinged with a hint of perfectly understandable bias, given that the author's a Cardiff fan and they would most benefit from QPR being thrown out of the promotion places, but it's well argued and researched. It'd certainly be a worrying read if I were a QPR fan. He mentions at one point a 30 point deduction which would leave the league looking like this, supposing all the teams around QPR, including themselves, won. 1. Norwich 86 2. Cardiff 82 ------------------ 3. Swansea 80 4. Reading 77 5. Nottm Forest 75 6. Millwall 70 ----------------------- 7. Leeds 69 8. Hull 68 9. Leicester 67 10. Burnley 67 11. Watford 64 12. Middlesbrough 62 13. QPR 61
Simmo86 Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 When you look closer at the charges they face and previous precedents set, the FA should really throw the book at them!
