I've been looking in shops and I can't choose between Mercurials or f50's for astroturf. If you could post your opinions on both that would be great. Dan

I like my boots but all i can say about them is they are blue, i have no idea about makes or that bullshit. Nor do i really care, the boots make no difference what so ever, if they fit alright then they're fine.

Had to send them back though cos apparently there was something in the cotton/fabric of the tongue which would react badly to mud and therefore cause disgusting smells. The whole case made it on to Watchdog (not mine but someone wrote in)! Got my money back and haven't had any Nike boots since. Always gone for Adidas.

Aleksz Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 It depends really. F50 seem to be where its at as we speak, if your going for a pair of boots just to look good then go for the mercurials. F50 would be my choice, but if you ever held the things in your hands you would know they are light as a feather (probably not giving you much protection). If your going by performance i would choose F50, if your choosing it by how durable it is going to be i would say Mercurial. Im like one of the above posters though, ive always had Adidas.
