lcfcjim Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 Woohoo, transfer news tomorrow morning according to Rob Tanner. Dont get too excited, its only 'news on a transfer target', not a confirmed deal.
Libertine Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 Dont get too excited, its only 'news on a transfer target', not a confirmed deal. Yeh just seen. Ah well, still more substance than most rumours I guess.
lcfcjim Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 Yeh just seen. Ah well, still more substance than most rumours I guess. True, it might give us something different to talk about on here for the next 24 hours, other than the quality of football in the SPL in the Madjid Bougherra thread!!!
john doe Posted 2 June 2011 Posted 2 June 2011 marvin elliott of bristol city big strong and mobile around the middle of the park
shiv Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 West Brown. CLICK Bit unrealistic. Don't think he'd ever join and his wages would be massive.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Bit unrealistic. Don't think he'd ever join and his wages would be massive. Yes mate, but Sven pulled Ulrika, so I'm sure he could lure Wes here.
Nick Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Veteran striker Kevin Phillips, 37, is set to return to the Championship with Watford after being released by relegated Birmingham. Full story: the Sun
FREEMAN Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Leicester team: Schmeichel Naughton/Vitor Bamba Bougherra PVA Wellens King Reo-Coker Gally Yak Maynard/Ranger
hbkkids Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 I would sign..... Gary Hooper (Celtic) cracking player and still young Stokes (Celtic) great player who can score lots in SPL Langfield (Aberdeen) reliable keeper unlike ricardo, weale ect Gradel (Leeds) quick and can score goals Hume (Preston) Still think he will be good at LCFC Zigic (Birmingham) dont think we would ever sign him but is an awsome player, espcially in the air.
MGLCFC Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Hooper is the only maybe for me Stokes - didn't do much in England Langfield - not sure I've ever seen a decent Scottish keeper and that icludes the clown at Sunderland who they paid £9 million for Gradel - why pay £2million for someone we sold for £250000 - besides he wouldn't come back after the way he was treated Hume - why? Never that good first time around - did he ever score 10 goals in a season? Zigic - a poor impression of Peter Crouch
80footgiraffe Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 hernan crespo guys. We've been missing a bit of shitty on the team

Never that good first time around - did he ever score 10 goals in a season? Zigic - a poor impression of Peter Crouch stokes would be great in the championship langfield is better than weale, ricardo and dont make mistakes gradel is speedy and can score goals, i think he would come back now everything has changed hume, a championship gerrard zidgic, played great for birmingham and scored goals

Why get that keeper who is 31 years old when we could get keepers that are younger and are already experienced in the championship that we've been linked with (kieran westwood/kaspar schmeichel) and the other keepers we have been linked with are better anyway and as for hume and stokes I think we could get better strikers then them two and doubt gradel would come back anyway.
MGLCFC Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 Stokes would be awful - absolute garbage at Sunderland Gradel will not come back - he is no better than Dyer How many times have you see the Aberdeen keeper, Langfield, is it, play? If he is that good, he'd have been snapped up pretty much sooner. Hume is not the Gerrard of the Championship, infact he isn't the Gerrard of League 1. Looked half decent in a shocking team, both here and Preston. Lurch can win headers - blimey at nearly 7 foot so could I. Zigic is average at best - wouldn't offer much at Leicester. These are only my opinions and you are more than entitled to your own!

Isn't he in hospital?!

Because 31 is still a great age for a keeper, usually 5/6 years left in them at this age.
