separator Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Wow, I wish I had been there. I'm pretty sure that they will never perform again and I never saw them and they are one of my favourite bands so I'm pretty gutted. They played mid afternoon if I remember correctly, nice hot weather in the gardens at DeMontfort Hall. Nice and mellow to chill out with a beer...
AoWW Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 Pack it in... you'll make me cry. And I cry far too easily as it is.

hairy Posted 5 June 2014 Author Posted 5 June 2014 There are bootlegs of there Glastonbury appearance floating around out there. Here are five songs I ripped from Iplayer at the time http://fileshar.es/Bp63Fxe . It was the same set they did for Summer Sundae.
Mark Posted 5 June 2014 Posted 5 June 2014 Incase anyone hadn't heard before, this is from the drummer of Bon Iver!
Itsthejoeker Posted 5 June 2014 Posted 5 June 2014 This is Justin Vernons side project, your best bet of seeing him live
Vlad the Fox Posted 5 June 2014 Posted 5 June 2014 So what's your favourite track? Hinnom today. But it was Flume yesterday and re:stacks before that.
Itsthejoeker Posted 5 June 2014 Posted 5 June 2014 Hinnom today. But it was Flume yesterday and re:stacks before that. Like me then, it changes everyday. Holocene has been the most often though, and Beth/rest, the piano version of that is great too.
IOWFOX Posted 6 June 2014 Posted 6 June 2014 Was lucky enough to see him at wembley arena, in what looks like his 2nd to last show in England. Bon Iver - Minnesota, WI (Live at Wembley Arena 0…: Bon Iver - Beth Rest: http://youtu.be/ODBetLQfRT Have so much love for this video Bon Iver - For Emma (a cappella):
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 6 June 2014 Posted 6 June 2014 This is Justin Vernons side project, your best bet of seeing him live A bloody good side project too i might add
Unabomber Posted 6 June 2014 Posted 6 June 2014 My all time favourite song is probably beth/rest but I keep listening to re:stacks, creature fear and the wolves currently.
Itsthejoeker Posted 6 June 2014 Posted 6 June 2014 My all time favourite song is probably beth/rest but I keep listening to re:stacks, creature fear and the wolves currently. Have you heard this version?
Unabomber Posted 6 June 2014 Posted 6 June 2014 Yeah I have heard that before it is absolutely brilliant, hadn't seen that video before though so cheers.
separator Posted 6 June 2014 Posted 6 June 2014 It was Justin's solo performance on Jools Holland that got me hooked. Think this was his first UK performance (could be wrong there!)
The People's Hero Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 LIstened to Bon Iver so much recently. Absolutely superb.
Unabomber Posted 27 June 2014 Posted 27 June 2014 This is Justin Vernons side project, your best bet of seeing him live Can't stop listening to this, thanks man.
hairy Posted 1 July 2014 Author Posted 1 July 2014 NEW TRACK From the soundtrack of Wish I Was Here get it here http://fileshar.es/Lx56Xko (please dont share this url, its some my private could) I thought that they had called it a day but Wiki says "On November 12, 2012 the band announced its intent to take a break from performing after its last event of its 2012 tour in Dublin. Their label asserts that the band has not broken up, however."
Itsthejoeker Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 Still live in hope of these guys playing live again, still can't stop listening to that last album even after the best part of four years.
Unabomber Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 They have to tour again, it is not fair otherwise is it.
Itsthejoeker Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 I don't think they've ever ruled it out, but they're all off doing other things. Justin with Volcano Choir, S. Carey starting his solo career. It's going to be a matter of them being in the same place at the same time which they probably rarely are. I'd pay top money to see them though, and would travel pretty much anywhere. Meanwhile I'll just have to watch the Coachella performance and pretend I'm there. http://www.veoh.com/watch/v308807915SqQN59H?h1=Bon+Iver+Coachella+2012
Unabomber Posted 27 January 2015 Posted 27 January 2015 I'd pay £50 I think and travel as far as Manchester/London.
