ScouseFox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Attendance across the divisions Leicester City (League only): Lowest: 19,611 (vs Reading 28/08/10) Highest: 30,919 (vs Leeds 26/12/10) Average: 23,666 Overall: 544,319 4th in our league, above Wigan, Bolton and Blackpool from the Prem as well, if you look at averages, rather than overall crowds, as they play less games than us. Still some way off Derby (we all know why ) but most importantly, beat Forest by 392 Top stuff from everyone who turns out to support the lads
ajthefox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 I'm confused. That link gives different figures to what you've posted Leeds are top with 27299 Reading are actually 10th with 17681 and then bottom by a long way is Scunny are with 5547

Corky Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Yeah, good effort, consistent with our previous seasons at this level.
Dan Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 A good effort indeed. If we were top flight we'd be between West Ham and Wolves IMO.
Madrid_Fox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 If its a promotion season next year I think we can average at 25-26,000. Probably get 30,000 + for the big games and the local derbies
Spudulike Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Attendances for local derbies (Cov and Derby) were down about 3,000ish (not got the figures to hand) from the previous season largely due to the ridiculous premium match day ticket prices. Sort it out Hoo's
CosbehFox Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 4th highest away attendances, just under 2000. Leeds, Florist and Norwich beat us in that.

Sort it out Hoo's Agreed, if we start to lose local derbies we've already got a scapegoat!
Donut Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 No sense in comparing our attendances to those of Wigan Blackpool and Bolton. Our 3/4 full stadium is fuller than their capacities
Anish Posted 20 May 2011 Posted 20 May 2011 It would be higher still if it wasn't for the ridiculously high matchday ticket prices which dissuades a lot of the regular fans who aren't season ticket holders from going. I used to go to about 8-9 home games but only made 7 this season (and that included once where my cousin couldn't go so gave me his season ticket). If we want to get more fans through the turnstiles we've got to make matchday prices more sensible.
ACF Posted 20 May 2011 Posted 20 May 2011 Its not pure numbers we should be looking at, but using these numbers as average % of stadium capacity. Then we can compare better IMO.
