Huuuuuuuuge mistake! £17m is bananas in this day and age. Why can I never get him for less than like £50m on FM ffs!! Really hope he does well though and lives up to all the hype. Well I've not tried signing him since the update cause I've been on my AFC Wimbledon save and occassionally my LCFC one but I get bored with that cause I'm in my 4th season winning everything, it gets too easy. Is it definitely true that he's signed for Utd then?

De Gea or his agents probably stuck to their guns by keeping it relatively reasonable in the event he couldn't compete for trophies with Atletico.

I know Butt and (Phil) Neville played, but other than that, I was expecting former players such as Blanc (I know he managers France and all that at the minute) and Eric Cantona, not the likes of Bebe, Anderson and Oberton. They all might not have been able to play/rejected the offer but for a players like Gary Neville, I expected a better team but thats how it is.
