Apparntly in the latest 4 4 2 magazine they have a section on the best 20 players under 20... apparntly Bruma is in there........urm what ?!? Surely this isnt true.

Im not one of his haters as I think he has a lot of potential but how can he get in that after his spell with us, he hardley set the league on fire, when someone like Phill jones doesnt....utter rubish!

Has any one got a copy or know if theres one online ? Would be intrested to see what it has to say about him.

He's the new....William Gallas

Strong, composed, versatile - at just 19 Bruma already has a lot to offer Chelsea & Holland. Outstanding in the air and as quick as he is powerful, he earned his full Dutch debut last Summer, handling a certain Shevchenko comfortably. He's comfortable on the ball too, not that this should be a surprise: Brumas started out as a midfielder at Feyenoord, before Chelsea saw out and out defensive qualities in the then 15 year old. And although he can play as a holding mid and a RB, Bruma is a natural CB. He's currently impressing on loan at promotion chasing LCFC but when he returns in the summer after he's toughened up in the Championship, a partnership with the dynamic David Luiz looks to be on the cards in Chelsea's post-Terry future.

He says: " I try to engage myself in the attacking build-up: Ancelotti allows me to do that but he sometimes has to rein me in".

(and some stuff about being an Arsenal fan and at first not liking Chelsea's youth policy)

Typed out. I agree with what he's saying although it seems like he's not seen him play. There's some fair points in there.

Muunich are deffo after some young talent, theyve taken Dale jennings on trial as well. He is deffo a holding-mid, if we had played him there from the start the fans might of actually been desperate to sign him up.

Ha ha, what a bunch of ****** you are. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. He clearly has quality and was clearly thrown in to an already awful defence and given little time to settle in. He did not set the world on fire and was not amazing but your slatings of him are just really, really childish. Unless, that is, you enjoy verbally abusing teenagers?

Cut the lad a bit of slack, he'll be quality one day and if he was not quite ready for the Championship that is not his fault but Sven's.

That'll do Bruma, that'll do.

Eriksson said only loans would be possible for Chelsea pair Bruma and Van Aanholt, who has signed a new four-year contract at Stamford Bridge, and he accepted he may have to wait until a new Chelsea boss is appointed.

"I am sure whoever it is will want to see both of them in pre-season," said Eriksson.

"They might decide on letting them out on loan for a year. I would take Bruma today if possible but it isn't.

Guarantee a few years down the line there'll be people looking back wishing we'd have tried to bring him in on a perm.

Completely agree. I'm all for free expression but this constant criticism is just silly. We want players to WANT to come here. They are not going to do that if we're on player's backs all the time. I'd love to sign him rather than what seems to be the preference of most other posters:

"Let's, like, ya know, sign some hard nut at the back who can't play football but will knock some fookers out".

Good look Bruma.

Couldn't agree more. Sure, he had a couple of shakey games for us, but he's19 years old. He will be quality one day.

Can't believe anyone would turn their noses up at a young player with genuine potential. We sign someone old they moan about not bringing in youth. We sign someone young and they say we need more experience. Someone famous and they say we don't want big name charlies and someone unknown and they all moan about not being a big enough signing. Just get behind whoever we sign and save your criticisms until it's genuinely warranted.

Bruma seemed a bit out-of-place in defense, but strangely enough, excelled at playing good football when he was put into central midfield.

I'd take him back.

Yes Bruma wasn't the best player we've seen play for Leicester, but clearly the guy has potential or else he would be so highly talked of. He was put into a defence which was chopped and changed all the time and he came half-way through a season which consisted of major changes. To be honest I would like to see him back here next year with a permanent defensive partner or maybe playing as a defensive midfielder. He really isn't as bad as people say he is.
