Cockney Fox Posted 19 June 2011 Posted 19 June 2011 This sizing thing is really irritating. I have complained to the club twice in writing, that neither Joma or Burrda can do sizing properly and although they acknowledged my complaints, they appear to have been met with deaf ears. By the sounds of it we, again, have to choose a size that will either be too baggy or too short, but this time there's a quality issue there too. Really liked the design of the new shirt but I fear the only way we're going to get a manufacturer that gives us proper sizes and quality is to boycott Burrda. I'm not saying I want a templated Nike or Adidas kit, just one where I don't feel I have to compromise quality or fit - afterall, they're expensive and get lots of use. So although I wanted to get this years, unfortunately it looks like they will not be getting my £40 this time round. Bad form, LCFC.

You obviously were one of the lucky ones, saying that tho i have read about Burrda logo's falling off in the wash and the King Power logo getting messed up after one wash aswell and for 40 quid that is bad form and just not worth the risk unless the new batch of kits are reported to be alot better

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 That's just rude behaviour from the missus! doesn't she know what her role is??? dont worry i will get a heavier ball and chain in the future
markbsac Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 the quality is very poor...saw loughborough fox in it last night and his burrda logo fell off he had to iron it back on again, i just don't think leicester city care what the quality is like they know fans will buy it anyway....well i wont 40 quid for a poor quality cheap polyester shirt....its about time leicester city got a grip and sorted these poor quality shirts out
Ricey Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 All the current kits are being re sized. So the next batch will be a better fit. Do you know this for a fact? Mine fits awfully, so I'm not sure whether to send it back or not.
SMX11 Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 It makes you wonder what quality control they have at the suppliers. Obviously next to none looking at some of the pictures. I think I will wait until August time before I will get mine.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 Do people worry about "fitting" with footie shirts? I always get mine a size too big so I can wear stuff underneath in winter.
beduffrich Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 I wouldn't worry about the sizing lads. I bought the new Cov city shirt and thats tight under the arm pits but fits well everywhere else. It seems even a proper sportswear manufacturer (PUMA) can't get it right. It would seem that both ends of the M69 will look stupid wearing their shirts.

nuttytimmy Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 I haven't washed mine yet and, in so far as the look and fit go, I'm perfectly happy with it. If I wash it and something falls off I shall be returning it to the megastore as it is of poor quality/faulty under the Sale of Goods Act (1979).
Houdini Logic Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 Was that picture in Belgrave? Nah mate, think it's a factory down Highfields
samjohnson Posted 23 June 2011 Posted 23 June 2011 Just got the new shirt for my birthday - Its quite nice - Love the collar on it. Reminds me of the 1998-2002 era
ousefox Posted 23 June 2011 Posted 23 June 2011 Got the new one for my birthday as well, It's top quality and a great fit. Bloody hope Bamba doesn't **** off or change his number mind!
Petchy Posted 23 June 2011 Posted 23 June 2011 Don't tell me you got Bamba 34 on the back! I've got a feeling he may use 26 next season?
Libertine Posted 23 June 2011 Posted 23 June 2011 Got the new one for my birthday as well, It's top quality and a great fit. Bloody hope Bamba doesn't **** off or change his number mind! No way he is going to be the same number.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 23 June 2011 Posted 23 June 2011 I've got a feeling Bamba will be 69. After that explicit picture he posted of him and andy king's 'region' Joke that is
ousefox Posted 23 June 2011 Posted 23 June 2011 disadvantage of getting it as a birthday present oh well!
