Marmite Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Do we know if the second batch is out yet, I want to pick up a couple of full kits for my 3 and 4 year old, anyone had any problems with the childrens kits ?
Kent Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Would the people who've got one suggest going in to the shop to get one rather than buying online? By the sounds of it it's a good idea to go in and make sure the badge is the right way up and that I'm not two sizes smaller than usual. Anyone?
Petchy Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 I bought mine via the online store and mine was fine - straight badges etc.
baylisslcfc Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 I thought the goalie shirt was that lime green kit? Away shirt?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 yeah im happy with mine so far buddy but its still not been washed as my slave (sorry wife) hasnt been pulling her weight good news my new shirt has been washed at last and its fine luckily
MC Prussian Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 Goalie Shirt. Can't see the picture. Got another link?
Marmite Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 With the infant kits the shorts are faulty. Cheers for the info
Ricey Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 This sizing thing is really irritating. I have complained to the club twice in writing, that neither Joma or Burrda can do sizing properly and although they acknowledged my complaints, they appear to have been met with deaf ears. By the sounds of it we, again, have to choose a size that will either be too baggy or too short, but this time there's a quality issue there too. Really liked the design of the new shirt but I fear the only way we're going to get a manufacturer that gives us proper sizes and quality is to boycott Burrda. I'm not saying I want a templated Nike or Adidas kit, just one where I don't feel I have to compromise quality or fit - afterall, they're expensive and get lots of use. So although I wanted to get this years, unfortunately it looks like they will not be getting my £40 this time round. Bad form, LCFC. I've emailed the club about the same thing and apparently "we have not had any other queries about the width or bagginess"
goose2010 Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2382527,00.html new goalie kit
nuttytimmy Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 are we not getting a new away kit? I'm fairly sure there will be a new 2nd strip, but the yellow kits are still (today) full price in the megastore, which I'd see as them being kept as a third kit. But who knows, really

Cockney Fox Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 I've emailed the club about the same thing and apparently "we have not had any other queries about the width or bagginess" That realy ****s me off... just goes to show there's a really bad system for recording and using fans feedback at Leicester. Also I imagine their comment about measuring it against another Premier league club was probably Wolves. It's definitely shorter than all other shirts, I've checked myself. Response I got: Dear <Cockney Fox> Many thanks for your email to Fanzone. I have taken up your question with the departments concerned and they have responded as follows. Firstly, we thank you for the positive comments you make regarding the design of the shirt. However, the stock is currently already in production at Burrda and unfortunately far too far down the line to make changes of any sort. We would add, however, that the replica shirts sold in our Megastore are exactly that, and are of the same sizing as worn by our players. We have certainly had no adverse comments from any of the playing or coaching staff or that the length is a problem. In addition, following your email, we have measured the length against those of two top Premiership Clubs and, size for size, they are the same length. Your feedback has been recorded and again we would thank you for taking the time to get in touch. We genuinely do welcome feedback from supporters on any aspect. Unfortunately we are not always able to give the positive reply sought. Kind regards Pat McConnell On behalf of Fanzone Leicester City Football Club [email protected]

FoxyPV Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 im from belfast so i cant go to the shop to try them on....so what size would be best for me if im 6 foot 2 and around 15 stone....not fat but not built id say more toned....cheers for the help Another one!!!! Hooray!!!!!!! I think that brings the total in Belfast to three
Cockney Fox Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 I'd say the width around the chest/stomach is more of an issue than the length, though I agree it does seem too short. Though if they made them long enough in the first place, you could buy a smaller size. The medium fits me perfectly everywhere, except in length; so I have to take a large which is way too baggy, because to me, wearing a tent is better than wearing a crop top. Stupid f*ing Burrda.
red5 Posted 29 June 2011 Posted 29 June 2011 I had mine for Fathers day, worn it once then the wife washed it and the king power writing and logo are peeling off, looks very poor quality, will be going back for sure. I see a few have had the same after a wash, wonder if it's a bad batch.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 29 June 2011 Posted 29 June 2011 God I'm glad I read this, I'm off to le2 tomorrow and I've got my 40 beans lined up ready but will definitely be taking a good close up look at the badges etc before handing it over....
Narborough_fox Posted 29 June 2011 Posted 29 June 2011 Mines brilliant. Badges straight, King Power logo not peeling and sized well. Over the moon
MC Prussian Posted 29 June 2011 Posted 29 June 2011 Got mine today. It may be a little bit wider around the chest than last year's kit, but I don't see such a massive difference. Logo/crest on my shirt is all proper and I like the slightly lighter/finer fabric.
