CKB Posted 12 June 2011 Posted 12 June 2011 See from this pic (Callabinho) the badge looks fine?? http://twitpic.com/593v7z
Matt Posted 12 June 2011 Posted 12 June 2011 My girlfriend has the shirt and well, the Leicester badge is poor on it I think. It has the white and blue circle around it however on some parts the white and blue is larger than others. I've told her to take it back! When I was in the shop earlier, someone was collecting theirs (Obviously pre-ordered) and he went to try it on and the Burrda logo was missing, and also someone else in the queue was complaing/commenting and said 'I wouldn't mind but this is the 3rd time i've been back now' (Whether that was the shop/items fault or his own I don't know - tbh even if it was the shop/items fault he should have checked before he left the shop, especially on the 2nd/3rd time)

Obviously the Burrda logo was missing as it was a rush job because the basement/factory got busted by the cops!
sdb Posted 12 June 2011 Posted 12 June 2011 Any photos of people wearing the shirt would be appreciated. Especially anyone 6ft 38-40 inch chest! cheers!
Cat Burger Posted 12 June 2011 Posted 12 June 2011 Any photos of people wearing the shirt would be appreciated. Especially anyone 6ft 38-40 inch chest! cheers! I'm 6ft and normally a Medium. My medium fits me a little baggily, but it's fine, I probably could have done with a small to be fair, you'd realistically have to be a bit of a gym bloke to fill the sleeves out on a medium.
baylisslcfc Posted 12 June 2011 Posted 12 June 2011 I got my new shirt yesterday and I have no problems with my shirt, the material, badge, etc...

VinceNoir Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 This is what I meant by the badge. Wow. That's pretty shit!
Bluefoxtim Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 Just went to buy mine this morning. Some of the shirts are just shockingly bad. The Leicester badges (as mentioned above) are all randomly placed within the white circle (some edges thick, others thin). The Burrda badge is placed at an apparent random angle. Whilst most were horizontal-ish, I saw one that was near enough vertical! I had to go through about 20 shirts before I found one that had both badges straight (as well as having a collar that didn't look like it had been chewed). You might say I'm nit-picking, but when you are spending £40 on a shirt you expect some degree of quality. I'm a big fan of the design, but I'm worried what will happen after a few washes! For anyone wondering about the sizes, the medium on this shirt is quite a bit bigger than the medium on the 125-year shirt.
CKB Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 Well this ain't half pissed me off! I was very tempted to get the new kit because the design is pretty good but after hearing about all these botch jobs i'm not gonna bother now.. It truely makes me wonder who the hell were making these shirts? I assume Stevie Wonder now has a job with Burrda??
goose2010 Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 having worked in the printing industry for about 10 years I personally would always wait at least till the second batch of shirts come in. What you find is LCFC would of give burrda a deadline which suited LCFC not Burrda, burrda would of then rushed out the first batch to meet the deadline . You will probably notice in a couple of weeks (probably juat after the real game) LCFC will say something along the lines of "unexpected demand of shirt means that certain lines are out of stock" in the meantime this gives burrda time to improve thier quality as they have been working to this deadline from day one. The shirts will go back into stock, the fans will be thinking i best go and buy my shirt before there out of stock again, which will obviously starts the cycle again. Simple really.

If that's the case i will get it in long sleeved once the new batch comes out, Mine is not too bad, just the King Power looks like a sticker again!
KFS Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 This might be too much to ask, but would anyone with the longsleeve be kind enough to take a picture with it on? Just want to see what it looks like with the fit. From what I'm hearing, I'll probably go for a small too, if anyone has the small long-sleeve, that would be really useful!
Austin Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 This is what I meant by the badge. That's ****ing woeful ash .. hope you've been back down the shop!
Cat Burger Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 Mine's minutely skiwiff. Not enough to be bothered by, but for £40 - dodge.
Craig Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 So disappointed with the quality and fit of it. Think I'll be returning mine
Brown Fox Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 Can you still get the season ticket discount for the shirts? 10% I think it was?
Wymsey Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 Fook buying a shirt from that club. I returned a shirt in February along with the receipt and yet they've haven't given my money back. Not very good reviews on the shirt I have to say.
Callabinho Posted 13 June 2011 Author Posted 13 June 2011 One wash test. And the results are... The King power logo started to peel and the burrda logo has shriveled up.......
Winchester Posted 13 June 2011 Posted 13 June 2011 Honestly, how hard is it to make a quality shirt. You can go into any high street shop and find button down shirts at half the price of a football top with better quality and more consistency in fit and finish. I'd gladly pay the extra quid it would cost to have this done properly. It should be an option when you order online. Please select the following options. Size: Long Sleeve: Name and Number: Championship patch: Made just like it looks in the brochure:
