Shame the other two shots I slammed past you weren't.

For someone with such a big mouth on the forum, you were ridiculously quiet.

It was a sunday morning - I'm suprised I managed to get through the 3 hours without collapsing.

Poor excuse. Even smuts managed it and he was outfield.

Good grief.

I think it's fair to say I was a total shambles, so apologies to my team who I let down quite a bit with my string of poor performances. I probably should have mentioned that I haven't played competitive football since primary school :sweating: . I'd love to pretend that what I lack in footballing ability I more than make up for in charming the ladies, or in intelligence - but well, that's obviously not true.

For me, the personal highlights are accidently blocking an LD3 effort and randomly tripping right in front of DavieG's video camera. Brilliant.

Nonetheless, It was a decent outing and I met some awesome people for the first time - such as HathernFox (sp?) who seemed like a really sound guy. Hopefully my naturally intense introversy didn't prove too much of an oxymoron to my unnecessarily obnoxious posts, but there we go.

The best player was clearly Singh Junior. It was almost embarrassing to keep replacing him as a substitute knowing he would be so much more effective than I ever would.

Even so, I'm not a bottler, I turned out and made a tit of myself and now I can drift casually into Foxestalk obscurity safe in the knowledge that you all have a valid, real-life opinion of me.

 smuts' foul on ld3 is even more obvious on video.

I didn't hear a whistle, so its not a foul.

Also nice to see DavieG filmed the 2 games i didn't score in.

In that first game against the yellows i really did go from the sublime to the ridiculous within 3 touches.

Touch 1 - That of a rapist, carrying the ball out of play

Touch 2 - Pinpoint through ball over the top of the defence

Touch 3 - Wayward shot over the fence.

Touch 4 - Penetrating run and slide rule pass leading to a good chance

Touch 5 - Or lack of, mistimed leaping challenge as the last defender which led to thier 2nd goal.

Consistently inconsistent.

And i can't believe how close we were to taking the leads against the Whites in the 2nd game. Starting with me lobbing LD3, stopping to gloat then playing J Lisemore in for a lovely 1-2 was a fantastic move. Deserved a goal but alas our worst player J Lisemore had to smash it wide.

you got a corner out of it so it goes down as a save.

Watching those videos makes me think it might be time for a bit of a shave.

You're right, it was a good save actually. (And he wasn't our worst player he was probably our best)

That move was pure genius.

I'm still in shock that we went on to win not 1...but 2 games!
