Anyone who gets married, on a Saturday, during the season, and misses a Leicester game wants their head testing!

Why didnt you book it for May, June, July? As already said, your priorities are all wrong!

Good luck though.

So happy that my sister decided to get married the Sunday before, meaning i can still go to both the Real Madrid and Coventry game.

Good luck for the wedding

you know, I was happy with that date cause I thought there was no football - it wasn't the final day of the season, it wasn't the play off semis or final, nor fa cup....sorted! I totally forgot to think about the next season! DUH!

I'm getting married near Coventry (not in it ugh) so will listen to the first half whilst getting ready! :chant:

Hope its a beaut day.

What way did you go?

You have to cross the road near the roundabout, but thats a simple enough task. I didnt go anywhere near the M6 sliproad though!

Mmm, can't remember exactly but we must've gone a bit wrong cos we definitely ended up crossing the motorway sliproad! I remember it well cos there was a guy on crutches for whom the task was even more difficult...

I hope it doesn't and I doubt it will tbh.

I think we might sell out. I know its a poor kick off time really, but its only down the road for most fans, its the opening game of the season, and its a chance to see the new signings for the first time in the league etc

Same. This worked for us although I think it was a distance, can't remember that well because I didn't go last season. I think, if I remember correctly, we had to run across a fast road near a roundabout, like at Scunthorpe.

I'm getting married at 2pm! :scarf:

Congratulations.

You get married, and Leicester go top of the league in the early kick off :ph34r: Everyone's a winner...

I'm getting to Leicester on Friday 5th.

Can I go to the City shop and buy tickets on the Friday for Saturday or do I have to get them from Cov or can I buy them online?

Thanks for the help.

Very limited. Thye have a a 2 hour limit for parking (I think its 2 hours, maybe even less) and people have got done for parking there before I have read previously.

We did it one year in 2008 I think it was, but thats because we were in my Dads work van and he parked near a load of pther similar vans who were carrying out work in the car park so we got away with it.

There is plenty of parking around the industrial estates, thats your best bet.

You'll be able to get then from our ticket office till they close that friday (if there's any left) as for buying them from Coventry on the Saturday I doubt they will be selling them on the day, it'll be all ticket I imagin

The away end holds 5500 (info from a cov fan that I know) there will be plenty to go around.

Yep, I agree. I am waiting until Friday until general sale, so was a little worried! But i logged onto their website and they have reserved the whole end for us, and although they are on general sale for Cov fans, looks like they have hardly sold any tickets so far. I think we should be safe for General sale!!

Should be a great day out!!
