Hopefully it will be spelt correctly on his shirt. It won't be, he's registered with The FA as Pantsil. Seem to remember them discussing it on MOTD last season.
Toffee_Fox Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14201537.stm according to the above link Leicester City signed Jon Pantsil on free transfer from Fulham. this is an official link from the bbc website however according to sky sports news tv they are in advanced talks with Patsil and no deal has gone through yet also on the LCFC official website it has no confirmation of the jon patsil transfer however i feel that the deal will go through in the next 24 hours but it depends who you believe according to the bbc we have signed him but i tend to follow sky sports news alot and according to them we are in advanced talks. im hoping we will sign him in the next day if the deal has yet to go through as i think this deal will complete our defence. i would also like to know who people think the next two or three maybe as i saw the video on lcfc website where he claimed to be after 3 or 4 and pantsil is obvioulsy one of them. just wanted your thoughts on the others i would like to see another striker or two and maybe one more cm. what do you think. the person on twitter who first told us all about it being done on Sunday (?) said he signed yesterday, 3 year deal, I believe them

Like I say I'd still like to see Bamba removed from the back line as he is consistently caught out of position that led to the opposition creating chances but Mills, Konchesky and Pantsil should be 3 parts of an extremely solid defence at this level.

Another great great signing by Sven, thats over 8 million spent on the defence... but worth the money!! No rush on the striker Sven still plenty of time before the season starts (cue people saying we need to get one in quick because of this that and other)
