Kettering Town

Finished 1-1. Just realised Waggy is on the bench, no idea who came on for him.

Very average, nothing exciting - could have easily lost it.

Sven was in the stands so might make his mind up on a few

Suppose it could have been worse... remind me what division do Kettering play in?

Do you have amnesia, this is what you put to me

You were the one suggesting he was good enough to stay as our striker because he scored 4 goals against some shit team in a friendly.

actually no if you actually read everything else i wrote i wasnt saying he was good enough for a first team starting spot but yes i did mak that comment in reply to you saying he is now not good enough. try reading what else i wrote and my whole meaning to write what i did and then tell me im an idiot

Not saying much if Ball is man of the match and we drew 1-1 with a conference side.

Where was Paintjob? And wasn't Moreno meant to be playing (unless Moore is somehow an Anglicised version of Moreno?)??

Neither started or came on.

Ball was decent in the centre, played the holding role really well. Decent passer, and is excellent at reading the game.

At left back again he read the game well, and looked good going forward.

St. Ledger looked a bit suspect at times, but he's vocal as ****. Constantly organising the backline, something we lacked last season.

As for Weale and the lob... :(:crylaugh:

Clever bussiness if ball signs and stays fit, great left foot. Tunchev played well too.

What weale had to do, which wasn't that much, he didn't manage to do it very well.

Waghorn and Howard useless.

Hmmm, very upset. 1-1 to a squad 3 leagues below us. Doesn't really fill me with confidence, for the first game against Cov.

It's just shocking to say, but Steve Howard is our top scorer, no?

Let's see what Sven has to offer on Saturday :scarf: :scarf:

None of those players will start vs Cov, except maybe St Ledger. Relax.

Dyer, Waghorn and Howard useless

Ball man of the match, Liam Moore decent too

Tunchev and SSL solid enough

Yann gave Steve a target man masterclass in the 15 or so minutes he was on!

Waghorn's performances make it more likely that he will be shipped off sooner rather than later

Just got back, have to say first time I've seen SSL and was not that impressed, did a lot of shouting but backed of to easily to ,let them score.

Don't think many of this lot will get a run out on Sat.

It was a poor, ill-tempered game.

Weale was poor, as per usual. Ball was easily MOM. The rest were below average.

Actually Man of the match were the 950 City fans who came to a Conference side in a pre season fixture on a Tuesday to support the second string team.

ball did better at lb than mid imo.. moussa was ok i thought. as others said ssl was vocal at the back. apart from his volley n tussle howard didnt offer much for me..

was good to get to a game again though as summer break seems to have been forever.. even if it was quiet..

Liam Moore was my MOTM played really well at Left back some of the runs and balls he put in were a delight. Ball played very well, bit on the podgy side though. Waghorn, Howard and Weale were all piss poor. Oh and to end Tunchev

waggy was hardly useless he set up the goal with a great take down and clever cross. howard also gave us excitement by running 20 yards to pick a fight. kettering had some good players. that left back had waggy in his pocket. good job by stowell to swap dyer/waghorn. tunchev did play well.
