Was it worth you asking Yeah it was actually, because people always moan when there are duplicate topics yet in this instance it's 'acceptable'. Surely you could have changed the title of the original topic to say 'Official List added on page blah blah' anyway?

So to be able to play either formation we'd need 6 CM's, 4 wingers & 4 strikers. Before i start to waffle further, I'll summarise: while the 2 for every position + 3 keepers would give a total of 23, to be able to change systems depending on who we play requires a couple more than 23, ergo a 30 man squad is roughly the right size.

lcfcsmith Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 Not sure if anyone's pointed this out already, but Nugent's number at Portsmouth was 10 and that's taken by King. It's not going to be a date like Danns' (his D.o.B. is 23) so maybe it's just a random number? Maybe a number at Bury or Preston?

I thought Sven may have given him a chance because he sounded decent in pre-season. He might feature against Rotherham and then take a squad number from there on, but I'm not sure whether he has the quality to compete with the rest
