ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 I was wondering what people think about having an all blue home kit instead of white shorts??
Libertine Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Would stand a better chance of promotion, going by recent statistics.
The Doctor Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Not that interested, blue and white is traditional although given we use the home kit with blue shorts on occasion away from home when the opposition have white shorts it might be worth going for.
@mrtonycox Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Don't give them another excuse to bring another kit in or swap another one..
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 11 August 2011 Author Posted 11 August 2011 Its only changing the shorts colour?
Len Finsbury Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Brian Little had the white shorts replaced with blue ones when he arrived. He believed that the most successful teams wore one solid colour and seemed more intimidating. I think he used Italy as an example. I'm not sure he used the same tactic at other clubs he went on to manage though. I prefer white shorts though.
Jace Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Would stand a better chance of promotion, going by recent statistics. pretty sure everytime we have been promoted to the premiership it has been with blue shorts hasnt it?? sounds like a good idea to me!! 1993/94 promoted BLUE SHORTS 1995/96 promoted BLUE SHORTS 2002/03 promoted BLUE SHORTS
Libertine Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 pretty sure everytime we have been promoted to the premiership it has been with blue shorts hasnt it?? sounds like a good idea to me!! 1993/94 promoted BLUE SHORTS 1995/96 promoted BLUE SHORTS 2001/02 promoted BLUE SHORTS 02/03 not 01/02. And also 08/09 in League 1.
Weller in Tights Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Blue and White, its just the way it should be. I do like the all white kit as an alternative/away kit. Never been a big fan of yellow. "Come on you yellows" is a terrible chant. Love the Green with yellow stripes Ind Coope retro shirt now on sale. Not as a usable shirt (it was an unlucky shirt), it just looks so rubbish it is actually good.
Simmo86 Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 I'm not too fussed, as long as the shirt is blue. What he said

Maybe there's something in it.
Jfox Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Doesn't our home kit have white shorts anyway, I thought we only wore blue shorts against Cov and Rotherham because they had white shorts.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 I don't care what we wear aslong as we go up
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 I was wondering what people think about having an all blue home kit instead of white shorts?? no, looks better with white shorts and is more traditional
gazfox9 Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 Not overly fussed, but I do prefer the white shorts over blue ones with the home kit.
leicesterseddon Posted 11 August 2011 Posted 11 August 2011 White shorts, blue shirt. That said, I think all-white away kit would be best. Combining it with blue shorts just looks strange...
