Always fancied being a postman myself. what would you do if the wages were no object etc?

Nothing like shooting for the stars.

I was a postman once, have to say I liked it a lot.

Sounds boring but the job I have is pretty damn cool, if I had to choose another then I would think a wildlife photographer or an archaeologist.

When I was at school I remember saying once I wanted to be a reporter. But I was not keen on being thae paparazi type which would not work. You have to be prepared to upset people sometimes. I still fancy doing something similar but I would need to be prepared to dig for information. Somebody has to take over from Rupert Murdoch.

I enjoy writing but only discovered it in my latter years. I never thought about it when in my teens twenties. It never occured to me to pursue it further.

Now unemployed/nearing retirement I want to see my name in print and have books sold in W H Smith and Watersons.

I have enough material for a book of poetry and stories but the cost way out of my budget. Not sure I could do a novel unless its a series of short stories that are linked. But being out of work which could be long term may give me the chance. I have an interview next week at the University for a morning cliner part time. If I adjust my living style I may manage on that and benefits.

So my dream may come true one day.

Ill have a qualifacation as an Astrophysicist. But theoretical physicists deal with phenomena that s not known or 'Theoretical' as applied physics is the study of known physics.

My main arena would ideally be String Theory and the question of how the universe was created i have my own ideas on this but again they are only Theories.

Basically involves lots of experimenting and ALOT of waiting.

if wages were no problem

fresh air, plenty of excersise, early start-early finish (till the bosses ruined that), stress free, most people pleased to see you.....bliss

If you weren't too hot on your ornithology you could end up shagging a shag.

Easy mistake.

Well done for that bud.

Excuse my stupidness, but do you do what Sheldon on the big bang theory pretends to do?

As for me, id love to do what David Attenborough has been doing for the last 50 odd years. i can sit and watch that man at work for hours upon hours.

Going to be taking up photography as soon as i have enough pennies to get a half decent camera. Other things have priority at the minute though unfortunately.

Its something that i have been interested in for years and years ever since i saw Michiu Kaku on a BBC documentary called 'Parralel Universes' that programme really was a revelation to me.

i actually sent him a letter about 2 years ago about a Theory that i had been interested in for a while and he replied within 2 weeks by saying that the theory was an interesting one and one that he would look into further.

I dont watch that program sorry heard of it tho.

Most of my time is made up of thinking alot.

My own Theories on things are as yet untested and unsearched its what happens when your climbing the ladder i suppose.

Leader of EDL or any other nazi organisation or even better a member of the Indian parliament.......

I used to because they had great dress sense but the EDL, the BNP and the NF have pissed on that stereotype.

Now I'd like to be a forestry manager. Me, the dog and a Land Rover full of power tools. F'kin A.

Team physio for a particularly easy-on-the-eye team. Hmm, maybe the Italian national team. *mind wanders*

"And Pirlo is down, he's got a nasty groin strain there, he's holding his upper thigh, he looks in a lot of pain. The physio has just ran onto the pitch and... no wait, he seems to be ok, he's leapt to his feet."
