somebum Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 Regardless of race, I wouldn't shake Evra's hand if he were pink, yellow or orange. A c_unt is always a c_unt.
Yojoe36 Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 So why was Suarez found guilty then if Evra was ''attention seeking''? I'm not defending Suarez, by the way. Evra just overreacts like the immature tit he is. His reaction to the handshake was ridiculous, then him chasing down Suarez at the end of the match and celebrating infront of him just shows how much of an arse he is.
Anorak Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 This Evra v Suarez bollox has got well out of hand, Fergie saying that Suarez should never play for Liverpool again for not shaking a hand was just cringeworthy. My lad pointed out to me, "didnt Cantana kick some guy in the crowd once?".... fooking kung fu drop kick son... Fergie is the pits.

My lad pointed out to me, "didnt Cantana kick some guy in the crowd once?".... fooking kung fu drop kick son... Not relevant. Cantona attacked a fan giving him abuse, showed remorse, gracefully fulfilled 8 MONTHS of a ban and an extensive community service order. He came back and nothing controversial happened. He just got on with the game. Also, United banned Cantona immediately after the game. Not for 8 months, granted, but for a significant period of time (I forget how long). Suarez racially abused a fellow pro, and then acted as if it was all a stitch up, refusing to shake the hands of the other player. This despite the fact that he was the perpetrator. Had Evra not shaken it would have been a petulant act, but perhaps supported by some level of reason. The key difference between Cantona and Suarez was that Cantona just got on with it. Suarez continues to play the victim, in spite of all evidence to the contrary and in the face of common decency. A simple handshake would have finished the controversy, confirmed Suarez' remorse over the offence caused, and everybody could have moved on. Ferguson was right in every word he said after the final whistle. Evra's reaction at the end was ill-judged to say the least (the less said about the Frenchman's character the better) but Liverpool are a proud football club, and Suarez' behaviour would be unbecoming of even the scummiest of football clubs.
Guest ttfn Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 Also, just watched Dalglish's interview. He's mental.
HEGGSY Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 MOTD should be good to watch tonight Although I can't wait for the 20 minute analysis as to why Suarez didn't shake Evras hand

A flying drop kick on a fan or refusing to shake hands with someone... hmmmm, tough one.....
MPH Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 MOTD should be good to watch tonight Although I can't wait for the 20 minute analysis as to why Suarez didn't shake Evras hand hopefully they will pick up on what most people seem to of missed and that is that Ferdinand also refused to shake Suarez's hand just after... Keep an eye on Ferguson right after: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdtxbVQo2xE&feature=related
HEGGSY Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 A flying drop kick on a fan or refusing to shake hands with someone... hmmmm, tough one..... I'm with you on this BBQ
Guest ttfn Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 Also, another brace for Wayne "big match bottler" Rooney. So far, he's scored against Manchester City (2), Spurs, Arsenal (3), Liverpool (2) and Chelsea (3). So in games against the 5 other biggest sides this season, his record is 11 goals in 9 games. A flying drop kick on a fan or refusing to shake hands with someone... hmmmm, tough one..... I think I made it perfectly clear in my post why that wasn't a reasonable comparison, but sure...

Keep an eye on Ferguson right after: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdtxbVQo2xE&feature=related I noticed Ferdinand didn't shake Suarez's hand straight away, but because of the Suarez/Evra race row, that will be the main talking point, will it not?
MPH Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 I noticed Ferdinand didn't shake Suarez's hand straight away, but because of the Suarez/Evra race row, that will be the main talking point, will it not? of course... but people are talking about how wrong it was for Suarez not to shake Evra's hand ... surely its wrong also then for Ferdinand not to shake Suarez's hand? THAT was my point.
MPH Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 Spurs are Su-fvcking-perb Seemed like a bit of a 'please dont go Harry' performance to me....
HEGGSY Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 of course... but people are talking about how wrong it was for Suarez not to shake Evra's hand ... surely its wrong also then for Ferdinand not to shake Suarez's hand? THAT was my point. And I agree
HEGGSY Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 Seemed like a bit of a 'please dont go Harry' performance to me.... May well be, nonetheless they ran riot against a very good Newcastle side (based on recent weeks, not today obviously )
foxfanazer Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 Why was it ridiculous? I'd imagine Evra doesn't like Suarez one little bit but still had the decency to offer his hand and that despicable cvnt turns it down! I'd be livid, its a shame Evra didn't end him! Why would u offer ur hand out to somebody who has racially abused you or am I missing the point?
FoxyPV Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 Why would u offer ur hand out to somebody who has racially abused you or am I missing the point? I would assume that Evra was acting the "bigger man" and attempting to put the past behind them.

I think I made it perfectly clear in my post why that wasn't a reasonable comparison, but sure... I remember the Cantona incident so well and everyone I knew including Man U fans said he should never play in this country again, but he served his 8 month ban and came back. Fergie is calling for Suarez never to play for Liverpool again.... Funny has fek....
FoxyPV Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 They didn't included Suarez's missed offside header when De Gea goes AWOL on the cross. It's a pro MUFC conspiracy
foxfanazer Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 I would assume that Evra was acting the "bigger man" and attempting to put the past behind them. Yeah I guess but all the uproar that came from it and Suarez to get an 8 match ban, seems a bit strange to be able to shrug ur shoulders and be the bigger man. I just don't trust evra one little bit
HEGGSY Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 Why would u offer ur hand out to somebody who has racially abused you or am I missing the point? Yes, Evra had the decency to offer his hand out to Saurez, in a sort of "let's put this behind us and move on" way. Yet that cvnt Suarez decided to be stupid and blow an already out of proportion subject matter even more so. I am in no way sticking up for Evra because he was just as stupid when he was milking the applause at the end, thus making the situation even worse. Dalglish is an idiot aswell.
lcfcadam Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 Kenny Dalglish and Luis Suarez, cunts of the highest, highest order. The sooner they're both out of English football the better. Complete scumbags the both of them
lcfcadam Posted 11 February 2012 Posted 11 February 2012 Also, I appreciate that there was no need for Evra to do what he did at the final whistle, but to be honest I really can't blame him and certainly couldn't make assurances that I wouldn't do the same in that situation...
