Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 12 February 2012 Posted 12 February 2012 I like him but I can see McCarthy getting sacked now, they havent kicked on in the PL since they went up and really should have done. Good win for WBA they seem to get decent results away then poor defeats at home lately.
StanSP Posted 12 February 2012 Posted 12 February 2012 Villa mascot rejecting Man City mascot handshake video Sepp Blatter will not be very happy and has a lot of work on his hands. I hope the kid issues an apology...
Captain... Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 So, with Suarez admitting it was he who did not shake Evra's hand rather than the other way around, this is yet another allegation we can chalk up as completely unfounded. This is not aimed at Captain Shrapnel - a number of Liverpool fans previously voiced this view - but this is getting ridiculous now. None of this, going right back to the start of the sorry affair, is Evra's fault. And at every turn, somebody is out there, twisting the facts, trying to make him look the villain and Suarez the innocent party. I think that both suarez and Dalgleish were told to apologise by the owners, I think that they could have argued the whole Evra didn't hold his hand out, and judging on past form I am surprised they didn't, but that would have dragged this issue on and on and I think they were forced to draw a line under it. Remember Suarez's tweet, it is all not as it seems. Evra is a snidey little shit and he gave Suarez every excuse to ignore his handshake and then played the victim, again. His conduct throughout the whole thing has been poor, from bringing the complaint up first on French TV to acting like a pr1ck at the end of the match. Suarez really hasn't helped himself and Fergie and Dalgleish don't come out of it well either nor do the FA. All in all they make the whole game of football look a sordid affair when in reality it was a storm in a teacup.
Libertine Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 'Genuine' rumours that MM has gone this time. From John Percy. After last time I'll wait for confirmation..

Soar Fox Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 McCarthy to Leeds I text my friend who's a Leeds fan saying that.
Leicesterpool Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 On another subject which three clubs do we won't to see relegated, for me QPR, Wigan & Bolton. Don't like Wolves but them three teams are a waste of space. I'd like to put Fulham in the bottom three but I think they've just got enough points to stay up.
Corky Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 No nobody out there to do a better job Steve Kean to Wolves.

Captain... Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 Warnock to Wolves surely or Sven , and for those that I want to go down, QPR (I hate Warnock, but they were dicks for getting rid of him, and Barton is a tool), Blackburn (just no idea what is going on at that club and still hate them for '92), then probably Wolves, depends who they get to replace MM, I like Owen Coyle and Martinez and I think they are trying to play decent football, although they are both tinpot clubs with shit fans.

21st Century Fox Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 It would be interesting to see how Dempsey would fair at a bigger club.
Darkon84 Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 It would be interesting to see how Dempsey would fair at a bigger club. Been thinking that quite some time now too, but what club would he fit in at?
Captain... Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 Been thinking that quite some time now too, but what club would he fit in at? Leicester I have seen him linked to Arsenal, that was in the Summer though before they got Arteta and Oxlade Chamberlain started showing his class, he has got to be better than Arshavin though and I think he would suit Arsenal's style whilst adding a bit more drive in their attack. He is a class player Dempsey, Liverpool could be another option for him.

Yea, out of the clubs towards the top of the league that should be challenging, I think I'd have to agree and say Arsenal would be the best option. I remember the link to them in the summer now, but it never seemed to be anything concrete, more just rumours and talk in shadowy corners haha. As you say, Liverpool could be another option. I don't really like either of them, but I'd much rather see him stay in London, as I REALLY can't stand the scousers. Either way, you've gotta love Super Clint.
