The mods will only have themselves to blame if they end up locking this one too. We're getting deperatley short on options now regarding available strikers, but Maynard has always been my choice one, even over Keane.

Fox92 Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Don't shoot me down here but we are apparently bidding 5.5million for a good Championship goalscorer, had a lot of injuries though. On the other hand, Yakubu is apparently avaliable for half of that price, has more quality and is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League, I mean, Everton are a very big club. Although Yakubu's wage demands will be higher, the fee for Maynard is more so its balances it out. He did play for Everton in a friendly today though.
