lcfc@ Posted 17 August 2011 Author Posted 17 August 2011 I agree my patience with him is running out, but he is always played in the wrong position and not for long enough, I honestly think its just a confidence issue, I think he is a top bloke and have no idea why people are bringing his IQ into it. You dont know him and for damn sure he wouldnt want to know you!! bore off! he may be a top bloke but he is still awful and doesnt have a clue about finesse
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Are people forgetting that Sven plays him in the wrong position and that he is only 21 years old <_< <_<
The Doctor Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Are people forgetting that Sven plays him in the wrong position and that he is only 21 years old <_< <_< are you forgetting that his finishing is atrocious?
themotivator Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 are you forgetting that his finishing is atrocious? what are you talking about? you must have missed that absolute pinpoint shot when he nailed that little girl right on the back of the head at half time.
The Doctor Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 what are you talking about? you must have missed that absolute pinpoint shot when he nailed that little girl right on the back of the head at half time. I didn't see that, no.
themotivator Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 I didn't see that, no. oh ok sorry. I'll let you off. and i suppose apart from that i will concede that his finishing is atrocious.
The Doctor Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 oh ok sorry. I'll let you off. and i suppose apart from that i will concede that his finishing is atrocious. Would have loved to have seen it mind, would be quite humorous.
Vardinhio Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 He needs to play as part of a front 2, simples!
lcfc@ Posted 18 August 2011 Author Posted 18 August 2011 He needs to play as part of a front 2, simples! no he needs to leave simples
accessory Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 As I've said before, his decline is testament to Sven's lack of man-management skills Reluctantly I have concluded that Waghorn has no future at City. He needs a manager who can inspire him and he won't find that here.

Dont think it is man management, he knows he is not really part of Sven's plans and really started playing well for us two seasons ago when he got a decent run of games, which I think he needs. However Sven doesn't fancy him and would like to bring in a striker he thinks is better imo so he wont get those games, so a loan is probably a good idea
lestajigs Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Waghorn can not change a game, he has very little to offer at the minute
teblin Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 I have never been a waghorn fan doesn't do the simple things well. But what is happening at the moment isn't his fault, we look like a "team" of individuals.
tomtom Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 If ever a player needed a loan move its waggie, send him out to charlton and Chrissy P and hopefully restore some of his confidence as the lads completely out of sorts at the minute
lee(lcfc) Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 i like him but i would stop him taking free kick he is crap at it, he needs to play from the start and not just one game a few to show him he is wanted by the club
lee(lcfc) Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 it like what my mate said why should your strikers want to play good and that when sven bidding for all these striker who going to replace them. think how you would feel if you was in there shoe. i wouldnt be very happy even if you play good sven seem the manager to just buy someone anyway.
Bettsy82 Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Waghorn is poor how many times do we have to see him attempt to take a free kick. We should loan him out he obviously doesn't wanna be here anymore.
Happy Fox Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Waghorn will go but we need to bring in a striker or two first
Guest ttfn Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Waghorn will go but we need to bring in a striker or two first Why? He's shit, he's not going to play anyway. If he does play, he's not going to benefit the team.
Bettsy82 Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Why? He's shit, he's not going to play anyway. If he does play, he's not going to benefit the team. It pains me to say it cos I used to love him but he does look shit now he's gut nothing to offer the team. We should definitely sell him while he still has some sort of value.

Bit off a silly statement that!!!! There ****ing paid professionals, on more money then most,
MGLCFC Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Why should your strikers play well when Eriksson is bringing in new strikers? You're havin a laugh aren't you? 1. The club are their employers and pay their wages - they have a duty to do their best 2. It's up to Waghorn to show Eriksson he doesn't need another striker 3. Taking awful set pieces is nothing to do with pressure, it's just poor technique. Yes Sunderland were laughing all the way to the bank - unfortunately whether you like Waghorn as a person, and I think that that is pretty much agreed, as a footballer he needs a fresh start elsewhere as he is nowhere near good enough for this league at present (PS I'm not sure Charlton would have him as he went their on loan before joining us and didn't score)
Bettsy82 Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Bit off a silly statement that!!!! There ****ing paid professionals, on more money then most, Agreed and if waghorn took his chance when it came his way I'm sure sven would continue to play him.
