Aeropars Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Maynard for me. I think the owners will now realise that its going to take more than the 10 million already spent to get us up at the first time of asking so will dig deep and do whatever they can financially.

Criggers Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 I feel like Maynard is least likely But then I don't have a clue who I would guess at in all honesty. Maynard is the only striker we've put in 'realistic' enquiries/bids for so to guess anyone else is like drawing straws.

I would say Maynard is most likely! and thats not based on rumours flying about. He has not signed a new contract for BCFC, deadline day is fast approaching which means Maynards zero value is fast approaching for BCFC. No premiership clubs have came in for him and we are the only club that has made serious offers. It is logical and pretty much a given we will place another bid as all factors now weigh heavily in our favour. Bristol would be insane to refuse a bid anywhere in the region of 5 million. So I will say Maynard. Wolves will not sell SEB as they have no backup and Yakubu and any prem loans will not be completed by saturday. Beckford is maybe a possibily but i can see that one going to the wire. Gradel would be awesome but probably would not want to come back here as he has his eyes on the premiership.
