The Doctor Posted 25 September 2011 Posted 25 September 2011 That's your opinion. No, it's the truth - they don't "literally" play football from another planet.
Austin Posted 25 September 2011 Posted 25 September 2011 No, it's the truth - they don't "literally" play football from another planet. Alright Nazi, I used a phrase, I obviously didn't mean they play there football on mars did I ? ****ing hell. I clearly meant that the football they play is incredible.

Austin Posted 25 September 2011 Posted 25 September 2011 Well don't use the word "literally" then. There was literally no benefit in you using that word in that sentence. And at what point did you decide to put in your 2 pennies worth? Does it genuinely annoy you that much that you decided you had to respond to what I wrote? Go slag Wellens off or post something negative in the main forum like the other arseholes on here.

Well, around about the point I did throw in my two pennies worth. It does annoy me, yes. I did slag off Wellens, he was shit today. Not literally shit though. That would be impossible.

accessory Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Current La Liga table How much longer can Levante stay ahead of Real and Barca?
Darkon84 Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Villareal took a beating last night and find themselves in the bottom 3. Surely the quality in their squad has to shine through soon, otherwise theyll find themselve in more trouble come January, when half the team leaves!
AjcW Posted 27 October 2011 Author Posted 27 October 2011 Guissepi Rossi out for 6 months with cruciate damage. They are truly screwed now! On the plus side at least he won't leave in January!
Austin Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Current La Liga table How much longer can Levante stay ahead of Real and Barca? The whole Levante thing is fantastic, the difference in budget between them and Real/ Barca is phenomenal. Hope they keep it up !
AmericanScott Posted 4 November 2011 Posted 4 November 2011 I'm off to watch Atletico v Barca on my birthday in Feb. Anyone ever been to the Vicente before? Hoping to catch Rayo v Real the day before if i can get a ticket. Rayo's ground is only small (about 15k) and a few stops on the metro from Sol so no doubt that will be sold out. Off to Madrid next week again .

AmericanScott Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Quite a few of us went in 1997. It's a decent ground, though suffers a bit in comparison with the Bernebeu... I did the tour of the Bernabeu when i went in September. Fantastic stadium. Walked along the river to have a look at the Vicente and it looked like a derelict building with cars driving under the stand! Just trying to decide where would be best to sit to soak in the atmosphere and be accepted amongst the home support.

Both ends seem fairly passionate.

Bert Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Am I the only person in the world that thinks Barcelona are boring to watch? Not saying they're shit, but I don't find them as exciting to watch.
AjcW Posted 7 November 2011 Author Posted 7 November 2011 Am I the only person in the world that thinks Barcelona are boring to watch? Not saying they're shit, but I don't find them as exciting to watch. They had a particularly bad game tonight. But I can imagine for someone who doesn't support them it can come across as quite repetitive/boring.
accessory Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Am I the only person in the world that thinks Barcelona are boring to watch? Not saying they're shit, but I don't find them as exciting to watch. I'm sure that somewhere in Camp Nou, there may be at least one person who looks at Messi, Villa, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas et al, and thinks "fcuk this, give us Gary Megson's Leicester City side from 2007-08". Now THAT was boring.. Perhaps you meant predictable?
Haydos Posted 7 November 2011 Posted 7 November 2011 Am I the only person in the world that thinks Barcelona are boring to watch? Not saying they're shit, but I don't find them as exciting to watch. I've said this before. 90% of the time they spend on the pitch is dull as you like but when they're at they're best it's unreal. I'm not going to knock them for it though, it works and at times it does produce some of the best goals you'll see.
StanSP Posted 15 December 2011 Posted 15 December 2011 David Villa has apparently broken his shin-bone in the Club World Cup match today. Kills any speculation that he'd move in January (Marca reported Guardiola had put him up for transfer).

Agree Completely, can never manage to watch a full game when they play. I can only take so much passing around the back four.
