AjcW Posted 15 December 2011 Author Posted 15 December 2011 David Villa has apparently broken his shin-bone in the Club World Cup match today. Kills any speculation that he'd move in January (Marca reported Guardiola had put him up for transfer). Its a pretty grim one
StanSP Posted 15 December 2011 Posted 15 December 2011 Yeah just seen the video. Reminds me of Henrik Larsson breaking his leg. The bone just pops out down the middle of his shin
Jimothy Posted 15 December 2011 Posted 15 December 2011 Yeah just seen the video. Reminds me of Henrik Larsson breaking his leg. The bone just pops out down the middle of his shin Hmmm it's a leg break, so it's pretty bad, but it nowhere near as bad Larsson. You see movement in Villa shin area, but Larsson's if I remember rightly was a huge piece of bone that popped out and his leg went floppy below the point of the break, and that didn't happen to Villa either. It's obvioisly bad and I feel for the guy, but I've seen many worse leg breaks.
Jimothy Posted 15 December 2011 Posted 15 December 2011 Someone post a link please. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4000705/David-Villa-suffers-leg-break-as-Barcelona-beat-Al-Sadd.html
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Am I the only person in the world that thinks Barcelona are boring to watch? Not saying they're shit, but I don't find them as exciting to watch. In Spain a lot of people think that Barcelona is so boring to watch, 4 or 5 years playing the same is so boring, that's why here a lot of people hate the Clasicos, I like ohter game like Athletic Bilbao-Valencia, Valencia-Sevilla, and Levante is playing so good , now Atl. Madrid with Simeone.
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 I'm so sad, my team (Real Zaragoza) is in the last place of La Liga, we are at 7 points from safety, we need at least 30 points in 19 games, it's impossible. When I have more time I'll tell more about our critical situation. What do you think about Pablo Barrera? it's on loan from West Ham.

He never seemed to fit in at West Ham but looked like he could be a good player. How has he been over there? I am surprised that Zaragoza are bottom of the table considering their squad looks fairly strong though, thought they'd be a lot higher.
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 24 January 2012 Posted 24 January 2012 He never seemed to fit in at West Ham but looked like he could be a good player. How has he been over there? I am surprised that Zaragoza are bottom of the table considering their squad looks fairly strong though, thought they'd be a lot higher. Barrera started the season playing almost every games, he socred one goal, because Javier Aguirre was the manager (now is Manolo Jimenez), and Aguirre during the preseason said that he want Barrera and Juarez (the worst player I've seen in years), and now Barrera doesn't play any game, and Juarez is out of the team (he only trains). Everybody thinks that we have better team than the last year, Roberto (the goalkeeper is the best player) , here you have the first team http://www.realzaragoza.com/equipo/primer_equipo Now in the winter transfermarket we have the loans of Apoño (from Malaga FC), Djumovic (from Dynamo Moscu) and Aranda (a fat striker), and the press says that Marco Motta is going to sign on loan from Juventus and Adrián Colunga (great striker, he was on loan a year ago) or Nikola Zigic from Birmingham (how is he playing??) Pffff, this Saturday we play against Real Madrid at 08:00 pm (spanish hour) I need a lot of encouragement
AjcW Posted 28 January 2012 Author Posted 28 January 2012 Madrid Currently 3-1 up at home after trailing early on against the bottom side zaragoza. 9pm kick off is Villarreal v Barca, always always a cracker, looking forward to it.
Ultra Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Villarreal basically parked the bus second half, probably deserved the draw though. Barca looked like they still had a hangover from the clasico. Real are definitely favourites for the title now.
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 We held on unitl Real Madrid wanted, we scored the first goal, but when Real Madrid wants to play football... I think that our goalkeeper could do more to stop the first and the last goal, and the goal that Cristiano scores is offside. We played better than the last games, is noted that the new tactics of the new manager are better than Aguirre's tactics We returned Juarez to Celtic, and maybe the same with Barrera and West Ham. Here you have the best dribble of the game hahaha, made by Angel Lafita, he is going to be free at the end of the season.
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 3 February 2012 Posted 3 February 2012 The press in Zaragoza says that we are interested in signing a striker with Belgian passport who has played the Africa Nations Cup and that belongs to an English team in the Premier League or in the npower championship, could you please tell me who's player could be?
AjcW Posted 3 February 2012 Author Posted 3 February 2012 I would say Congo are the only side with direct links to Belgium so the only option there would be Lua Lua... But that was from five minutes worth of pretty lazy detective work... In all honesty there's a hell of a lot of players and I'd imagine it would be difficult to find out the passport they hold from google
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Another game without winning, playing bad, players walking through the grass, we started winning and Rayo Vallecano took us back (the game), there are players who are tired at fifty, in the last 14 games we only have won 3 points and scored 7 goals, this season we signed 17 players, and I don't want to continue because I think I'm being a bit heavy... but I need to talk about what is happening in the Real Zaragoza, certainly many of you know that Real Zaragoza was one of the great teams in Spain, we are the 9th team in Spain, but 5 years ago a builder bought the club, signing great players like Gaby and Diego Milito, Oliveira, Aimar, David Villa, Piqué, and similar players, but with this players we fell to the second division, this was the ruin and nowadays we are in bankrup and Agapito Iglesias (the owner or the dictator) doesn't want to sell the club, even having people who want to buy it, legends like Gustavo Poyet, Esnaider, Nayim, Caceres, all of them supported by an investment group of the city, people that really feels the Real Zaragoza in his heart. Here you have the best goal of the match, scored by Helder Postiga http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MELzUDbkq3Q I would say Congo are the only side with direct links to Belgium so the only option there would be Lua Lua... But that was from five minutes worth of pretty lazy detective work... In all honesty there's a hell of a lot of players and I'd imagine it would be difficult to find out the passport they hold from google Thanks for the search, I know that It's difficult to find
Haydos Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 Ronny with his 27th in 22 league games so far, 6th hat trick this season.
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 Guardiola has decided that this season he doesn't want to dispute La Liga more, and focus on the Champions and the final of La Copa, but they could dissimulate better, or they think that the rest of the teams of La Liga have already know how to play against Barça, five years playing the same type of football.... not afraid for Barça. Talking about my team (Real Zaragoza), after 4 months without winning a game, we won 0-2 against Español, Da Silva and Juan Carlos (great and young player from R. Madrid), playing a good second time, now 10 points to keep on La Liga.
AjcW Posted 13 February 2012 Author Posted 13 February 2012 Glad you finally got the win mate! Watched the game, thought your boys looked quite sharp. Not quite sure whats happened with Barca recently, and I am genuinely worried for tuesday against Leverkusen, a strong german side away from home, looking to cause a big upset, something which really seems to be spurring teams on at the minute against Barca. As for Mr Ronaldo, credit most definitely due, having a fantastic season, and is being helped by some fantastic team play. I think for the first time in a long time I genuinely cant see Barca clawing this one back, but still fingers crossed!
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 Thanks for your happiness about the victory of my team, as you said the team saw stronger and united than the last games. As I said in my last post, Guardiola has thrown away the fight for La Liga, and now he's going to use the best players to keep on the Champions and win La Copa, so I think that Barça is going to play the Champions League final. C.Ronaldo is one of the best players of the world and now that La Liga is won, the team will play for him.
Stadt Posted 14 February 2012 Posted 14 February 2012 It makes me laugh how all the Messi fanboys say that Ronaldo doesn't play well in the classico's, The Champions are decided over the course of the season not the classico's.
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 Here you have Real Zaragoza web page: http://www.realzaragoza.com/ , the official facebook page https://www.facebook...ZaragozaOficial , the official twitter https://twitter.com/#!/RZ_oficial , and the youtube channel http://www.youtube.c...ZaragozaOficial In this way Real Zaragoza will have a little gap in your hearts, in the same way like LCFC and me hahahaha

Oh, and I'll always remember when Diogo and Luis Fabiano had that 'fight' hahaha. More like Handbags at dawn. Classic!

Here is the fight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpCkXM81Nkg Diogo here was known as Crazy horse, because he was running through the field without knowing where he was going and kicking everybody that was in front of him, but he was one of the best right back that we have had during the last years. Today we play at home against R. Betis at 09:00 pm, maybe the 2nd victory of the year or a new disappoinment.
accessory Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 Four more goals for Messi at Camp Nou last night. The league may be gone (thanks to VERY compliant refs in Madrid games) but Leo is still determined to win the Golden Boot.
StanSP Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 And he's only 14 goals off Barcelona's all-time top goalscorer, Cesar (235). At only 24, too. Incredible.
