La Liga 11/12

.... And so tomorrow looks like being the end of an era for a man who has transformed Barcelona and won every trophy he possibly could.

I would absolutely pile on him being Man City manager next season! I dont think he would want the Chelsea job, to much to change, not enough time etc.

I know one player, Leo Messi, who has said time and time again he owes it all to Pep, through coaching him in the B team to changing him from an attacking midfielder to a roaming striker in the first team he has done wonders for Messi's career.

Thanks for making me love Barcelona and appreciate football of the highest quality.

Despite the last three games, still a phenomenal record (THIRTEEN trophies so far) during his four years in charge.

Wouldn't want to be at the Barca board meeting that decides on his replacement.

It'll be Bielsa. Especially if he wins the Europa.

Currently 4/1 on skybet. Decent odds they are!

Gone as soon as there's a bit of pressure

Would have liked him to stay to see how he responds to not winning La Liga or the Champions League this season.

Can't really see him anywhere else, would be tough for him whereever he goes next as he won't have the same quality of players

I know that is tongue in cheek but I generally think he has probably just got a bit bored.... what more can he do??? All the major spanish league followers I know are saying he will take a few years out and return as their next president! Sounds strange I know but they all seem serious!

Earned me a cheeky 29 quid... although i but a fiver on Bielsa too so lost that one.

Madrid strolling towards the title away at Bilbao. 0-3 up and Ronaldo even missed a penalty earlier on. He was clearly fúcked off at that because Messi bagged a hat trick so has pulled away in the race for leading scorer.

There it is. José does it again. Wins the league in his 4th different country, truly the Special One.

Ronaldo finding it hard to even celebrate as he missed a last minute 1-on-1 lol.

Messi takes his goal tally to 68 for the season, beating Gerd Mullers record for goals in a top flight european season.

Edit: Congrats to Real and Jose.

Congrats Madrid

Very much deserved a win this season, although from a biased perspective, if your main competition had bothered to sign some decent squad players then this would have been no contest once again.

Barca haven't been taught a lesson in football yet, they have however, by Mourinho, been taught a lesson in transfer policy and squad building and ultimately that won this title.

I think you'll find that friendly against us won them the title.

And that is the kind of desire to win that earns titles!

Real Zaragoza only 3 points to keep on the first division, incredible the last games of the team, every players giving all of them, I'm very proud of being of Real Zaragoza, no Barsa, no Madrid, awesome the supporters.

If the next saturday the Rayo and Granada loses her games, and if we win against Racing de Santander (is relegated), we depend on ourself on the last game against Getafe, away, but it'll be like the last game of the last season in Valencia against Levante we were 12000 supporters in Levante stadium, more supporters of Real Zaragoza than Levante.

Went to Getafe v RCD Mallorca and Rayo v Barca at the weekend.

Gf and i got Getafe scarfs before the game, only to realise our tickets were in the Mallorca end! Crap atmosphere from Getafe overall. Expected a lot better from the home side, too. I was looking forward to seeing how Tsepo Masilela (remember him from last summer, folks?) but he wasn't even named on the subs bench!

Mallorca played them off the park and looked impressive. All 20 away fans were fun to be with. Finished 1 - 3 to Mallorca.

Rayo v Barca was incredible. Rayistas are awesome. Singing, jumping celebrating throughout the match. Even at 0-7 down, they were having a great time!

After Barca scored their first goal, a lot of fans started walking out which i thought was weird. It was in protest of the ref as he made an awful decision to play on after a foul on a Rayo player which then lead to the opener. The ref and linemen made some of the most awful calls i've ever seen. There were a few other English people in front of us and we said how we thought England was bad for refs!

After Thiago scored and did his little dance with Alves (Puyol stopped it, great gent) in front of Rayo's ultra support, both got heavily abused by our fans. Never seen anything like it before.

Can't wait to get to another Vallecano game next season.

Spent 110 Euros on football tickets and got to see 11 goals in total. Not a bad return.

Today is the day, all of the games at 09:00 pm spanish hour, please support my team against Racing de Santander, hahaha, if we win and Rayo and Granada lose his games, we depend on ourselves on the last game, I am really nervous, the stadium is going to be full, if it's possible I'll post a photo of the beginning of the match

Zaragoza won, and Rayo and Granada duly lost!

Massive bust-up at the end of the Granada-Real Madrid game, though. Apparently the ref was from Zaragoza... :o

In other news, Lionel Messi scored another FOUR goals to take his total to 72 for the season, including 50 in the league.

It's looking really tight for the last relegation spot. Rayo face Granada at home next weekend whilst Getafe host Zaragoza. Rayo needs to win. If both Rayo and Zaragoza lose, and Gijon nick a win at CL chasing Malaga, then Gijon will stay up at Zaragoza's and Rayo's expense! Hoping Rayo can get a win. Love their fans.

This Sunday more than 9000 zaragoza supporters at the Getafe stadium, my friends and I haven't got a ticket to the match, in Zaragoza we haven got only 4000 tickets and it have been drawn for all of the 20000 members (in spanish abonados or socios), we were 15 persons and only one have ticket, so we are going to see the match in Zaragoza with a lot of beers and hope that we keep on the first division.

Good luck, I'll be hoping they manage to do it. Always had a soft spot for your team. Come on Zaragoza!

Good news for us, today we are out of the bankrupt, the judge said OK to do the payment of the money that the club debt to a lot of people, clubs, ex players, etc

In this way, the debt is,more or less, the half that we had have to pay at the beginning of the season, from 140 millions of € to 80 millions of €.

Good luck, I'll be hoping they manage to do it. Always had a soft spot for your team. Come on Zaragoza!
