More than 14000 fans with tickets are going to travel to Getafe, the stadium holds 18,000 people and Getafe has 8000 members, half of them have sold their season tickets to Zaragoza fans. About 1500-2000 people are going to travel to Getafe without ticket, I don't know if I could travel or no without ticket, the game is at 8 pm and the on Monday I have to work, and the trip takes 3 hours.
ScouseFox Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 The Zaragoza game looks a bit mad, they won 2-0, scored a penalty, had a man sent off and Getafe had 3 men sent off.
AmericanScott Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Raul Tamudo scored a goal for Rayo in the last minute to win 1-0 over Granada. Had he not scored and it finished a draw, Rayo would've gone down instead of Villarreal. So happy for Rayo to be staying up and for SpanishLCFCFan's Zaragoza too. Relegated: Villarreal Gijon Santander

Something fishy about this result and the fact that three Getafe players got themselves sent off!
isaidno Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Went to watch Espanyol play Seville tonight. Finished 1-1. It´s a nice stadium. When the fans found out that Villareal had been relegated, they started chanting
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Something fishy about this result and the fact that three Getafe players got themselves sent off! Today I have one of the best hangovers in my life. The manager and the players of Villareal are saying that something strange had happened in the game, but if you see the game, the 3 players that had been sent off, were ok sent off, and in the first half the referee didn't give a penalti for Zaragoza and in the second half we had a player sent off too. 14500 supporters at the Getafe stadium, Real Zaragoza won 31 points in the second half of the season, inf the first season half only 12 points.
Darkon84 Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Well done to Zaragoza! Cant believe Villareal went down, amazing stuff, thought well done to Rayo aswell! Big well done to Jose and Real Madrid too, the first team to EVER reach and surpass 100 points in a season!
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 16 May 2012 Posted 16 May 2012 Nowadays the Spanish league is rubbish because of the TV deal, barcelona and madrid earn twice than Valencia, Atletico de Madrid, Malaga, for example, and you can imagine the difference with teams of the bottom of the table, whereas leagues as England, Italy, Germany, etc. There are differences but not so large, even that there are second-division teams that earn more than any other in Spain, this situation is sad. Until this situation is not resolved, the League will only belong to Madrid and Barcelona. For example, do you know how much does LCFC earn with the TV deal?
