anyone else find it strange how he has exactly the same record here as he did at man city.

MAN CITY - Played - 45 - Won - 19 - Drew - 11 - Lost - 15 - 42.22 %

L C F C - Played ------47 - Won - 21 - Drew - 11 - Lost - 15 - 44.68 %

theres a pattern emerging like another thread this is in.

Not EXACTLY the same is it.....

Perhaps in crazy land 44.68% is exactly the same as 42.22% but not in this reality.

honestly why are people calling for sven head ? yes we ve been playing shit recently but we have got it in us beacuse it happened at the 45 mins v forest and the 45 mins v southampton yes if we want to go up we have to do it for the 90 but come on people asking sven to be sacked after 6 games is just pathetic if the thai owners do decide to get rid of sven then we will be even more screwed MON in my opinion just wouldnt work he would have his own ideas same with the other managers then that takes another what ten games to gel then we are even further behind and befor you say sven can manage in this league because he did it last season when we were bottom and he got us up to 7th at one point so stop moaning and get behind the team and manager rant over

I think 7th was the highest we got to last year and that was after the 2-1 win over brizzle at home

This is exactly my point; it is not 'early' since he had the best part of last season

Conveniently forgetting we've bought a whole new squad this summer? You must get very confused when the clocks go back or forward.

Thanks for the ad hominem spherical; the situation may not be 'parallel' but the personification of tactical masterclass that is Sven will continue to erode your blind faith in him to the point where you too will be calling for his head.

Yes it was Spanky and his gang dat done it. He broke me. I've had to reconsider my whole approach to all things, not just football. I no longer can cope. Do you know that there's someone like him on BBC 606? 1 starred every one of my articles. I've never been the same since.

Limp Leicester's owners turn up the pressure on Sven

Published 20:59 13/09/11 By John Percy

Sven Goran Eriksson is scrapping to save his job at Leicester and now faces five crunch games to avoid the sack.

Eriksson is already under serious pressure after just six weeks of the season and Leicester’s Thai owners are understood to be growing increasingly concerned after an underwhelming start to a campaign they hoped would end in promotion to the Premier League.

The former England coach forked out over £12million in the summer, but the Championship's title favourites have only picked up two league victories so far this term.

Eriksson is certain to face the sack if he fails to mastermind a revival this month, after being told that missing out on promotion will be “a big failure”.

Foxes chairman Vichai Raksriaksorn’s son, Apichet, said: “I expect us to challenge for the Championship title and be in the Premier League next season.

“If we can’t get up to the top tier soon, at least within the next few seasons, we will view that as a big failure.

“For me, it will be very disappointing if it doesn’t happen this season.”

Eriksson faces Championship pace-setters Brighton this weekend before back-to-back visits, in the Carling Cup and Championship, to Cardiff.

Leicester then play Middlesbrough and local rivals Derby, and Eriksson urgently needs an improvement to avoid a grisly end at the King Power Stadium.

The Swede was given substantial funds this summer to embark on the kind of recruitment drive never before seen in the Championship, with Jermaine Beckford’s arrival from Everton on deadline day the club's 12th close-season signing.

If Eriksson can get the Foxes firing, he has been promised even more cash to spend in the New Year.

Raksriaksorn added: “Sven has all the say on what and who he wants.

“He has assembled a strong squad. However, if he feels he needs to add to it, we will back him during the next transfer window with whatever funds and resources he needs.

“Sven has signed some quality players and I still believe it will be a successful and exciting season.”
