CKB Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 So after a convo with Litster i thought i'd make a topic and poll about this.. Just what would your ideal kit manufacturer be? I have mainly just put the bigger ones in the poll but i've put other so if you choose that then tell us who and why! I chose Puma myself, they make lovely kits simple as!
Dan Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Puma aren't bad but wouldn't suit us IMO. Adidas would look too Chelsea. Nike it is.
LilMissFox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Nike make better kits, Adidas are good too but I hate Liverpool so wouldn't want them
The Doctor Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 I'd much rather a smaller manufacturer with a unique kit than some off the peg base design we'd get with Adidas, Nike et al.
Kilworthfox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Seeing as we were Sunday league vs Cardiff maybe Pro Star is a shout.
Dr The Singh Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Seeing as we were Sunday league vs Cardiff maybe Pro Star is a shout. I love you!!!
Jimbo Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Why would anyone want Nike or Addidas as our kit supplier? We'd end up with almost exactly the same kit as Posh, maybe a different shade of blue, which is just the Arsenal kit from last season. You may as well just go down to jjb buy a generic blue Nike t-shirt.
Kilworthfox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 I love you!!! The feeling is more than mutual xxxxx
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Man at C and A? Or 'George' at Asda?
Guest Bilo Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 A nice Umbro retro number please. I can imagine the leisurewear would be gorgeous as well based on the England anthem jackets which are utterly sexual. I actually prefer Umbro kits to Nike's in spite of the latter being the parent company. Adidas kits are too samey, Puma are a bit of a mixed bag but I wouldn't say no to a royal blue version of Coventry's kit. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Thais go for a big manufacturer next though, I can imagine a kit from one of the more famous companies being a bit more desirable to their home market than Burrda. Their national team uses Nike and I wouldn't be massively shocked to see us replace Burrda with the same when the contract ends.
Jakemoore Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 I love the addidas kits with the White stripes going down the sleeves, it looks so good, check out macclesfields kit
Dr The Singh Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 I think the designer who makes the clothes for the 'Original Fosse Boys', (my sig). I would love to see city play in that gear, turban and all!!!
Guest Bilo Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 That bumblebee jumper on the far right could be our away kit. Stick a King Power logo on that bad boy and you have a shirt and 'arf!

Finchy Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 What about a bit of skin tight Kappa?? YES YES YES What a beautiful shirt.
acooling08 Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 I agree with Fox Leisure. Why rely on a large company to supply generic shirts when we could make our own?
Jace Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 oppps sorry guys I was just joking Id go Adidas or Puma really, but some of our fox leisure kits were pretty decent
