absolutelegend Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 That is a great, great shirt. My favourite home and away shirts are from that season. Think they've just re-released it. I'm going to get one
gazfox9 Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 I've still got the jade/navy '97 shirt in my wardrobe somewhere!! My recent favourite was the jjb one with the pinstripes. Really liked that. Also the 95/96 shirt I think it was (the one in which Claridge scored v Palace at Wembley) was a beaut, and holds some wonderful memories.
Heskey2011 Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 The jade and navy kit... I'm a big fan of the 1997 home kit as worn in the Coca-Cola Cup Final at Wembley (my one and only visit to the Empire Stadium) The jade / blue shirt is on ebay £25 starting bid! i'm sure they're not but alot of the old shirts kind of look fake, there's an awesome GK kit as well have no idea which season it's from
THEfox Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 any with the running fox badge (even the scoreline ones) ...but this is me fave
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 I'd agree with that one. Good quality manufacturer, unique design to us, very simple. Love this one, with historical links also makes it more special best home: best away: This is also the bogs dollocks
Tielemans63 Posted 30 September 2011 Author Posted 30 September 2011 any with the running fox badge (even the scoreline ones) ...but this is me fave That's a pearler! I need that shirt in my life!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 I'm fascinated by this shirt. Really nice. It looked really great, that away shirt, as did the blue home shirt
Kitchandro Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 I've still got the jade/navy '97 shirt in my wardrobe somewhere!! My recent favourite was the jjb one with the pinstripes. Really liked that. Also the 95/96 shirt I think it was (the one in which Claridge scored v Palace at Wembley) was a beaut, and holds some wonderful memories. I also really like these 2, I'm wearing the Claridge play-off one as we speak Most of the older ones are nice, particularly the first Admiral one from the late seventies and the one from the mid-seventies. I know most people hate yellow kits, but I thought they were lovely in the mid/late 90s
Finnegan Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 wooo! That's the 1st time I've tried to put a picture on a thread and it's worked :w00t: Calm down, Wymsey. My joint favourite, by the way, and another from my youf:
themotivator Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 I'd agree with that one. Good quality manufacturer, unique design to us, very simple. yes that one has to be one of the best. i love most of the 90's kits the most, but this one has to be a personal favourite of mine. its because the "background texture" looks like fur, AMAZING. keep meaning to buy a mansize one now that im not a child any more. also that fox leisure logo is possibly the best logo ever to be crafted by human hands.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 don't know how to post pics (I read FT on my phone) but this is my fav kit... The first one I ever had and I remember the day when it was given to me EDIT: the pic diet work but it's the 94-96 home kit
Finchy Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 also that fox leisure logo is possibly the best logo ever to be crafted by human hands. This is true, then they replaced it with this rubbish.
Neil_LCFC Posted 30 September 2011 Posted 30 September 2011 The pinstripe 83 ind coope kits, plus the ones after with Ind coope also then John Bull as the sponsors also by admiral are my favs. These had white along the shoulders really nice maybe someone can post a pic. Also liked the Umbro kit around 1981 or so that was my first kit as a kid. In from around 79 to 86 we had 4 great kits.

That was the first city shirt I ever had - got it for my 10th birthday. Was my first full kit too. Never been so happy since!

The Doctor Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 Got this this morning, but without the Admiral Logo and the pinstripes go through the Ind Coope logo.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 1 October 2011 Posted 1 October 2011 There you go That's the badger, cheers How beeeeeaut is that!?
Jace Posted 11 October 2011 Posted 11 October 2011 abit off topic but didn't feel this question warrants its own thread, does anybody know where this Leicester shirt came from? found it on ebay last night its the 2005-06 home shirt but with the Walkers logo on instead of the Alliance and Leicester, my guess is its a youth team shirt but is quite big and is not being advertised as anything different. ebay link
boring_jester Posted 11 October 2011 Posted 11 October 2011 any with the running fox badge (even the scoreline ones) ...but this is me fave i have never seent hat shirt. i need one now

Bayfox Posted 11 October 2011 Posted 11 October 2011 I like the 90-92 Bukta Away kit, still have it now although a little small as I was 11 at the time. Can't find a decent image though, think i may still have the shorts and socks somewhere as well.
