That's my next holiday booked.

You won't be disappointed. ;):P

You know what? My missus has always said that she'd be more upset if I had a lapdance than if I got drunk and slept with somebody!

I haven't tested this just yet...

Incidentally, Cambridgefox, I always seem to take twice as long to read your posts. Your piccy is a tad distracting...I think I'd like to see that film...

No,we had said we would go to a strip club before we went and it wasnt that sleazy(not a private dance)just expensive.Got slapped for my mate abusing the no touch policy then pointing at me.

Those girls are infact German, get yourself to Hamburg!!

I went to a stag do in Hamburg and got hammered took out 400 euros and me and a mate blew the lot on tabledances in the Reeperbahn, that entry on the statement upset the wife a bit!

I've done exactly the same!

Dint even look at my bank statements anymore, I must do 2,000-3,000 a year in pubs though.

I don't really overspend on anything - £80 in 4 weeks on booze isn't excessive and that's my biggest expenditure I reckon.

Only 80 quid? Don't you ever get the round in?!!

Posted

Don't do rounds, every man for himself.

That's a bit gay

Real men drink in rounds and then mock those who cant keep up.

Posted

But the people I drink with can't keep up - If I was to drink in rounds I'd be taking a lot longer between finishing one drink & starting another.

The people you drink with can't keep up and you spend £80 in 4 weeks?:ph34r:

cheap pints round here and I brought plenty with me.

Even got free booze the other day - 11 of us went into a club and got given free entry and two bottles of champagne for nothing.

You average £20 a week and they still can't keep up? Are you drinking with the chess team!?

House-mates and occasionally people off my course.

I've probably underestimated by a bit & if included the cost of the stuff I brought with me then it would probably be quite higher, but my point about not spending too much getting pissed remains.

I know SUs are cheap but still. Just surprised. Not trying to start a pissing contest but I spent hundreds in my freshers week alone.

I never manage cheap nights, mind. Despite being a natural lightweight. (I'm 5 9 and about 9 stone, alcohol hits me fast :P )

Whole load of pre-drinking goes down first - makes the amount spend on the night a lot cheaper.

Admittedly at 6"2' and 15 1/2 stones I am able to resist the effects of alcohol for quite a while but I was surprised to see how fast people were going down on Friday night - one chap hurled after the first club.

Eh, kids innit. I used to roll my eyes and act all indignant when people said that to me as a student.

But sitting in the Polar Bear as a twenty something with twenty-something mates you do become very aware of how young first years are and how shit they are at alcohol. Haha.

Inbetweeners. Get a round, get yourself an extra inbetween rounds. Everyone's a winner.
