Instead of that, we reacted to their play, rather than take it to them. Why try to contain a poor side with only one up front in the first? They were woeful, as is most of the championship, and yet again we fail to take the advantage. Today, we were the creators of our own downfall. It's as simple as that.
Ambitious Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 **** me lengthways and call me shirly, the performance wasn't brilliant today but it wasn't bad enough to warrant a wrist slitting session, we played well in patches but all chances of us kicking on in the second half were dashed due to a penalty and Matt Mills thinking he was a long jumper. All this Sven out bollocks is getting on my wick! We have a team of humans not robots, we will win some loose, some go on good runs and some bad runs, we just need be there to spur the lads on! I'm getting sick of people making excuses for this Swedish wet blanket, our position in the table isn't good enough, if this was anybody else such as Sousa, Pearson, Holloway etc everyone would be calling for their heads. Face it, Sven is finished, we brought him in at the wrong time in his career, we should have replaced him with O'Neill in 2000 or replaced him with Little in 1994, if we were ever going to get him.

If we get to the point of even considering a new manager (and I don't think we will for the reasons I've stated above) and if we have the money to make a big appointment, I would push the boat out as much as possible and steal Nigel Adkins/Atkins? from Southampton.. IMO the best manager in the division bar none IF he'd come of course.... However I'm sure Svennis will see his contract out and then leave us to go and get shit loads elsewhere The man must wake up most days and consider himself to be the luckiest bloke alive!!

topharry123 Posted 16 October 2011 Posted 16 October 2011 Poor performance, the only time we looked like scoring was when we were 1-0 down and down to 10. We just seemed to struggle to get into the game until it was all but lost. Can't complain about the penalty or the red. Both seemed pretty clear cut and as much as i want to blame the ref this time i can't. We need to change something up soon as we're very hit and miss right now, need to get some consistency going.

He's better than Beckford, Nugent and Vassell, we could have had him for free in the summer as well.
